The year was 1977 and a young singer name Edward Joseph Mahoney, better known as Eddie Money released a single that to me is the first thought that comes to my head when I think of Paradise Pizza. NOT the fact that they are open super late for the area, I’m talking Mexican Ertos late. NOT the fact that their pizza dough is gluten free. NOT the fact that they deliver. TIP: Google maps is wrong, it’s not on State street. 2 TICKETS TO PARADISE
Tiny. 1/5 the store is the seating area, 1/5 the oven, 1/5 the walk in cooler, 1/5 the staging area and the rest walk way for the employees.
Décor is pretty limited, but they do stick with the Paradise theme. TIP: Really tall stools (not to be used when your drunk as I’ve seen people fall off)
Tip: Don’t get the small pizza’s they are small, your better off getting a sandwich as they are more filling if you are eating for 1.
Simple pizza’s with basic ingredients. They have weekly more creative versions, but they are specials and not on the main menu. See the chalkboard. (ie, feta, prosciutto, pear). Canned drinks and a half dozen local beers. Salads are big, but basic. Antipasto is the most filling from the pepperoni ad Canadian bacon. Dressings are a bit acidic. Gluten free dessert cinnamon rolls, regular, smore calzone’s and pb&k calzones are really quite good. Unique to them, but not an exclusive idea. Wings could be crispier. The cheese bread is really good, probably my 2nd favorite item. I like more than beer buddies at PP down the street. Get a side of pesto and butter garlic and your set. Gluten free options here as well.
Tip: Order online.
Pestorosa sauce is a great variation that’s less rich than pesto and a good mix of tomato based and basil based sauces. Calzone’s are build your own and come out really hot since they are sealed. I really prefer their chicken sandwiches like the la cubana, pepperoni chicken to the cheesesteak versions. Meatballs could be more bright in flavors, a little heavy and dense. Sausage falls apart. Bacon ranch is really good as well and pretty filling.
Ingredients I like are the artichoke hearts, basil (if pestorosa or pesto aren’t used), muchrooms, onions, spinach, sausage, Canadian bacon, ricotta, rovo.
Pizza’s I like are Veggie delight, Zen, carnivore, Italian, shrimp pesto, beef & blue, and the famous Margherita. It’s not as artisanal as many do it, but with the gluten free dough it’s really popular.
Prices are pretty good, but service is excellent. Hours and ingredients make it my go to and if I lived closer I’d have them deliver. A...

My wife and I are both gluten free, not by choice, so we have very limited options when it comes to pizza. Paradise Pizza is a very welcome change to the usual crappy pizza crust we are used to. Their gluten free pizza crust is delicious and something like I haven't tasted before. We ordered the veggie delight with pepperoni and although a little expensive, well worth it for a on the go treat.
The staff was great and the service was as good as it can be for ordering over the phone and running in to pick it up.
I would definitely recommend coming in to try their...

Was looking for a new pizza place to try and found Paradise Pizza from a delightful Yelp review. Their description of the Gentle Italian was spot on!
We're vegetarians and the Gentle Italian sounded delish. It was, along with super-tasty mozzarella sticks. Paradise Pizza has excellent fresh, high quality food, plus warm and friendly staff. Especially Juan the owner.
We've been twice and find the food, staff, and service (pizza is ALWAYS hot) to be so far above the norm. If you love pizza, you'll love...
