Life Cafe — Restaurant in Cary

Avoid. The smoothies were decent, but the food was a bit questionable. Had a breakfast burrito and the eggs had an odd greenish color to them- my kids had a "fiesta bowl" for like $8 that was a small bowl of white rice and beans, avocado and tomato, but as I was dividing it up I just kept smelling something musty and realized it was the bowl or the food or something there. To put the frosting on the cake, they forgot one item from our order, there was a hair in my wife's sandwich and I saw one of the food preppers rubbing his nose with the back of his gloved hand-- which initially I tried to just forget, but then after the rest of it, just kind of completed the experience. They gave us a coupon for a free entree after the burrito came late, so one extra star for an attempt at service, but yeah, you might stick to packaged items or...

This experience today was one of the best in my food eating career. The cashier had so much energy, it made my heart full with joy and excitement. I asked the worker his name, he said it's Noah, and too this day, Noah was the most star studded and wonderful employee i have ever met. Him and his coworker, James, both cooked up my Quesadilla and Protein Shake to perfection. The ingredients tasted so fresh, almost like they have a garden in the back. Once the food was delivered, they brought it too my seat with speed and positivity, and even told me to have a great day. This is what I expect from every single employee I meet. The only downside of the interaction is the fact that they set the bar so high, no one will every surpass this...

Today I came in for a workout, I’m injured so I’m in a sling. When I came into the cafe I was greeted by a young man named Jackson. He immediately asked about my injury which made me feel welcome in the establishment. He walked through the whole menu with me and helped decide what was the best option for my gym goals. He made my food very quick and delivered it with a smile that could part the seas, he was such a jolly kid. After my first bite I said WOW out loud, that’s how good he made my southwest bowl. Once I was finished he came and cleaned up my bowl and told me to have a great day. I don’t know if I’ll be able to ever eat fast food again because Jack set the bar so high for what service should...
