So it’s been awhile since we have been to this Applebee’s. My father in law and I came today and waited 15 minutes before we were seated. we got there a little before 6. We get seated and our fabulous waitress Stella grabbed us our drinks. We each ordered a margarita on the rocks with salt. We get them with no salt. Now typically I am not one to complain or send things back but we both wanted salt so she gladly took them back with no hesitation or even a little bit annoyed. We then ordered our food and got the 2 for 25, I ordered the steak (medium rare) and my father inlaw ordered the shrimp wonton salad, and each got a salad with our meals. I ordered my salad with no tomato and Italian dressing and we got them and mine had no dressing WITH tomato. The woman that brought these out took mine back to have it remade. As we were eating our salads our entrees come out and I cut open my steak and to my surprise it was WELL DONE! Now again I wasn’t going to say anything but Stella happened to be standing behind us and over heard my conversation with my father in law and instead of shrugging it off and pretending she didn’t hear anything she jumped right in and asked if I wanted it remade. I respectfully declined as I was just over the whole food experience. She offered to have another made and boxed up to take home but I said that it was okay and I was all set. She offered us a free desert or to have money off our bill. I asked for money off the bill. She was MORE than apologetic and so genuine. We got our bill and they had taken $11 off which I was okay with. I am more than pleased with the professionalism, respect and gratitude this woman showed us during our not so wonderful visit. I just want to say that Stella is a GREAT asset to this team and deserves so much for being an outstanding waitress, and being so calm and collected during an experience like that. All she wanted was her guests to be happy when we left, and I will say had it not been for her I would have left very upset but she made sure we were pleased before we walked out the door.
