I just got finished waiting 40 mins for an order in the drive thru. When I came up to the speaker box nobody responded. After repeated attempts to get their attention I drove up the windows and notice a young man leaning with his back to the window. I knocked on the window and got his attention. He spoke some english but I believe had a Russian accent and didn’t fully understand what was wrong. I told him nobody was answering the drive thru speaker and if he could take my order. He looked down and found his head set and messed with the buttons, I believe it was off, then he said oh it should be good now please drive around again. I was in a bit of disbelief but complied and went around again. One person was in line in front of me now and after a few attempts to repeat my order due to no understanding what I was asking for I got my order in. Then while waiting behind the car in front of me that was now at the window I heard them say something that the driver of the car didn’t agree with and they drove off with no food. So I get to the window and wait about 10 mins to pay for my food, I should of left by now but was waiting patiently. While waiting I saw many cars drive around me and leave. I also notice many that would park and attempt to go to the dine-in area but the doors was locked. After 25 mins of waiting the manager I believe stuck her head out and said they were short staff and had no English speaking staff to open the dine-in area. I also heard while waiting for the food cursing coming from the staff, including the manager, about how big of a sh** show it all was.
The management of this location is horrible and Wendy’s corporate should take this location away from the owners, they clearly can’t manage or run a business.
In total I waited about 40 mins and I will not be returning until I see a sign for the location to be under new management. I also called the customer service and left a message saying...
Read moreNever going back. What an absolute joke. I went through to grab some chicken nuggets one evening bc I hadn’t eaten and thought I haven’t been to Wendy’s in ages. The last time I ate Wendy’s was in northwest Indiana in 2019. We always placed very large orders at work (like $70 orders) and sometimes there was a mistake but never food or service like this location. Slooooooooooowwwww. I sat at the drive thru to order for a few min, was about to drive off because it seemed like they were closed when a voice comes on to take my order. I order some nuggets and sweet & sour sauce. I was still on the street of their location when I discovered they were cold. Almost like they were barely defrosted. WTH?! Gross. I threw them out and made myself some oatmeal when I got home later that night. The service made me feel like I was putting them out for attempting to dine there. The people at the window were not pleasant in the least and clearly the management does not care. I would have gone back to get the order replaced but I know how that goes. Never have returned since nor will I ever. Close this location. The franchise owner should save his/her money. This is a waste of a good property in Castle Rock and overhead for a bunch of people that clearly do not take pride...
Read moreOk this location has gotten better. It’s still not great but at least I’m getting what I order now. So I’m updating my review to two stars. I really came on here to warn everyone about the new marinara chicken and marinara burger options. They look delicious on the menu, and I grew up eating something similar at a local mom and pop restaurant so I decided to give it a try. Don’t, just don’t. The mozzarella cheese stick like patty is disgusting, I’ve never seen a cheese stick where the breading and cheese seem to have mixed together into a new mushy disgusting substance. It wasn’t even hot, so it was like biting into a combination of rubber and breadcrumbs. Then there’s the marinara sauce, or what they call marinara sauce. It appeared like a chunky red sauce on the menu. On the sandwich it wasn’t even visible, and when I bit into the sandwich it tasted like vomit and bbq sauce. When I picked apart the sandwich to find the culprit and it’s this “marinara” sauce. No resemblance of tomato is there, it honestly tastes like bbq sauce mixed with vomit. So just don’t eat this sandwich because if you think like me it will be something like a chicken parm you will be very disappointed. 2 stars for service, 0 stars...
