Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Cedar Falls

I placed an order for drive-thru pickup through the app on my phone at around 9pm on sunday 6/2/2024 , when I left my house about 10 mins away hoping it'd be ready by the time I got there. I ordered 2 sandwiches, pesto pasta salad, and a confetti cookie sandwich because I hadn't eaten all day. When I got to viking Plaza I still didn't have a notification that my order was ready so I parked by michaels to wait. While sitting there in view of Jimmy Johns, one car went through the drive-thru, ordered and got their food. Then 10 minutes later, over 20 mins after I placed my order, I finally get the notification that my food is ready. So I pulled into the drive-thru and picked up my order, not realizing til I got home that I didn't even get the confetti cookie sandwich i paid for. And to top it all off, I even gave a preemtive 20% tip when I ordered, just to be nice, and my food wasn't "freaky fast" or even complete. Really disappointed because I work in foodservice and it's not like they were busy with a bunch of other customers, and i placed my order an hour before close so they shouldnt have had everything wrapped up/put away already. Decent food for when I need it quick , but currently frustrated with this place.. the company I work for orders all the time, sometimes multiple times a day from this place due to the convenience. Our drivers are always great. A while ago we had a driver come in that accidentally spilled our drinks all over the front counter of our establishment. He came back with free drinks so all was good. Due to the inconvenience of us having to clean the computers and key boards, gave us a free sub coupon. I didn't notice then but the coupon said dine in only. We called in a week later with a big order of multiple subs and asked if we could use the coupon since the issue was originally with a delivery & the manager said no. With the amount of money we spend there on a weekly basis and with it being due to a delivery mistake it would have been nice for them to just accept the coupon. Food wasn't too bad. It was likely the kind of sandwich you would expect. But the service, was not good. The young gentleman who made my sandwich was pleasant. But the young lady taking the order was rude and unfriendly. Aside from her tattoo's, she had no personality what-so-ever. This was my first visit to a Jimmy John's. I was unfamiliar with the menu selections and clearly this young lady had no interest in making my experience a positive one. In fact, she seemed to go out of her way to make me uncomfortable.
