drove in to the island today to give the Jaybird's Chicken & Dock Street Dips a try. The fried chicken tacos are outstanding!!! Fat tacos, filled with fresh ingredients, and some of the best fried chicken I’ve tasted… it also comes with a side for the price of I think it was $17.99….well worth the money !! I’m ready to go back ! Hours right now are Thursday through Monday 11-8 per the very nice staff working at the front.

10/10 Jaybird’s Chicken is absolutely amazing! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The star of the show for me was definitely the chicken tacos – hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. The chicken was juicy and seasoned just right. You can tell they really care about quality and flavor here. So happy to have Jordan back as the best chef in Cedar Key. I’ll definitely be coming back! again and again!

We stopped in for lunch. Service was friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and fast. I’ve heard it’s the same chef as 83 West and that would make sense because the food is just so good. I had wraps and salad but it was too delicious to pause for a pic so I ate with one hand and took a pic of my husband’s tenders and onion rings.

We ate here TWICE during Labor Day Weekend! Honestly it's the best chicken I have ever eaten! The food is great. The staff is great. The atmosphere is great. The portions are big and affordable. We are regular visitors and this will be a welcome addition to add to get our foodie needs on while here! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
