Absolutely incredible Franklin sandwich! It definitely lived up to it's reputation. The sausage and gravy could not have been better! Only reason for four stars is the online ordering app said I'd be notified via text/e-mail when the take-out order was ready, 15 minutes later I drove through the drive up window to check status, the sandwich was ready and getting cold, the check-out guy said an e-mail should have been sent that the order would be ready in around 10 minutes, we checked my phone and confirmed no e-mail was sent, he said their ordering system is glitchy. So fantastic sandwich, not perfectly hot due to a tech glitch.
6/25 update - reduced from 4 to 2 stars for takeout. After a second visit in which I placed an online order to go, I read the confirmation note carefully. It stated the order would be ready in about 30 minutes and that a follow-up e-mail would be sent to me confirming the time the order was ready. After my prior experience outlined above, I went to the takeout window after 12 minutes and my order was ready. The reason for the low review is that a hot sandwich, sitting on a counter for 18 minutes (if I came to the restaurant after 30 minutes as per the order confirmation page) would be luke-warm at best, in my opinion inedible unless I took it home and microwaved it, which would make the biscuit tough and defeats the purpose of buying a hot meal to go.
I e-mailed the general manager, who thanked me for the feedback, said she only handles the Denver location, and that she'd forward my note to the Lone Tree appropriate person. No response. I called the Lone Tree location, summarized the issue stating I did not request a refund or compensation of any sort. The person answering the phone said she'd spoken with the manager and that their system was not sending e-mails but that an approximate order ready time was being sent. I shared my concern about order ready time, and was told something akin to "thank you for the feedback".
So, great food, just ignore their ordering system if you would like to be able to eat it.

Read moreEvery time I've dined at DBC I've always been served wonderful delicious food! I had to stop and try their new location in Centennial, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The restaurwnt itself has an awesome outdoor vibe with cornhole to play for guests while they wait, and outdoor patio seating for dining. It seats much more people from what I've seen at their other Denver locations. Inside the ambiance is fun, modern yet rustic. The music was upbeat, not too loud that you couldnt hear the people at your table. Families came together with their children and all seemed to be enjoying their time. Our waitress Ruth was very pleasant with a beautiful smile on her face. She was attentive and observant. When we arrived at 9am, Saturday morning, they were well into the hustle and bustle, food came quick and hot. The Franklin with egg was a table favorite, juicy moist chicken and a biscuit to put Southern states to shame with their savory mushroom or sausage gravy! The Cinnamon Roll is MASSIVE, sweet, soft and a good way to start your breakfast appetizer with their self serv coffee. If you're there for brunch and looking for a hangover cure.. can't go wrong with the bloody mary! Very well made, as well as their Strawberry Mule! Made from their homemade strawberry rubarb jam! The girls loved that one. Over all it was quite impressive watching how quickly everyone was served considering this location now has a drive thru for their pick up orders to juggle as well. I myself was pleased as well as my whole group. I definitely will be sharing it with others! Sorry no pics this time! The food was eaten before I even got the chance..

Read moreI’m extremely frustrated after visiting this location last Saturday for lunch. I had a friend in town with her two children, I had taken them to fat Sulllys in Denver upon their last visit from out of state, and her 9 year old asked to go again because he loved the pizza and experience. So I was excited to try out this new location as I live nearby. We asked to order a pie and our waitress had a disgusted expression on her face and said, that’s going to take at least 30 minutes to come out, anything else you want to order instead? We said no, and told her what we wanted, she then grabbed our menus, we said, hold on, we want to order other things too. She said the French toast and other items were coming out before the pizza.. so we asked if can it come with the pizza, she said, ok. Gave us our drinks, never refilled them although refilled the white couple next to us. I never felt discriminated against in my life but I did this day and time at this restaurant. I was visibly upset and I said to my husband, they get refills and their glasses aren’t even full yet we’ve been on empty for over 10 minutes and we got nothing.. she still didn’t stop to get us refills, we had to stop her and say can we get refills. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant before. The pizza and the rest of our food was delicious though. But our waitress was beyond rude. I still gave a 20% tip in the hopes she’d think twice about treating myself and guests like that ever again.. I can honestly say i couldn’t tell if she was mad at us because we ordered a pie or if she hated us because I was with my husband and my friends were...
