Afternoon Visit to SANGAM – Fine Indian Cuisine in Wilmington This afternoon, our group of six visited SANGAM, a fine Indian cuisine restaurant in Wilmington. We were warmly welcomed by Shreya, the receptionist, whose friendly demeanor immediately made us feel at home. A large, impressive Lord Ganesh artwork in the waiting area set a spiritual and artistic tone right from the start. The restaurant layout is thoughtfully designed: the bar is located to the right of the main entrance, while the spacious dining area extends to the left, offering ample seating. Despite the rainy weather, we were excited to try this new place, having made a reservation for lunch. The ambiance was calm and inviting, with clean floors and a fresh, modern look that suggested the restaurant was relatively new. Shreya took the time to explain the menu options thoroughly, including the variety of thalis available. When our food arrived, it was served promptly by Rakesh in traditional Indian steel platters. His service was excellent—everything we ordered was correct, and the spice levels were perfectly balanced. We were particularly impressed by the taste and presentation of the large Dosa and the Chili Gobi, both of which stood out for their flavor and authenticity. The decor of the restaurant was another highlight. Every wall was adorned with Indian art, ranging from elegant South Indian classical dance scenes to depictions of festivals, cultural events, temples, modern art work and contemporary Indian photography—all beautifully curated and professionally displayed. Service was not only quick and efficient, but also well-timed. The pricing was reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. In summary, we were highly impressed with SANGAM and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It's a great addition to Wilmington’s dining scene, and we’ll definitely be returning.

Just visited them— and wow, what an experience! The place is spacious, clean, and gives you that perfect fine-dine feel, yet still super welcoming. One side has this elegant family dining area, and just across a wall, there’s a cozy, well-done bar setup — so you truly get the best of both worlds! Now let’s talk food — We had the Neiy Roast Chicken, which had this perfect blend of sweet, sour, and spicy with a gorgeous smoky flavor. The Chicken Dum Biryani? Absolutely delicious — packed with juicy chicken and rich flavor. Also loved the Chilli Paneer and Curry Leaf Chicken — both full of flavor and cooked just right. The bartender was super friendly and helped me pick out some amazing drinks — I tried the Curry Leaf Margarita, Mango Chilli Margarita, and Mandarin Mojito — all so refreshing and unique! Whether you're out with family or catching up with friends, Sangam has a spot for everyone. I had such a great time! #SangamRestaurant #WilmingtonEats #IndianFoodDelaware #ChickenBiryani #NeiyRoastChicken #ChilliPaneer #CurryLeafChicken #FoodieReel #FineDineVibes #DelawareFoodScene

Very nice interior design! Great options, but a bit pricier for Indian food. Understand that Indian food shouldn't be considered cheaper, but they're kinda squeezing it. A cup of tea (which is actually the equivalent of two shots being $3 is stretching a bit, but what really did it was $5 filter coffee which was significantly half the size and double the price of another local restaurant's. Ordered the special non-veg Thali which had a great assortment and which I believe was worth the price of $22. It had some goat curry, dry spiced chicken, a chicken curry, a very tasty fish curry, samba, rasam?, another veg curry along with achaar (pickled something), yogurt to cool down the spice (and some of the curries were nicely spiced) and a sweet little cheer. It also came with a nice fried dry-spiced piece of fish, which I really liked! And in the center was two pieces of roti and a big bowl of rice. Magnificent flavors! They have this thali on the weekend, but I think a smaller version on the weekdays. May go again, but would recommend trying their thali at least once!

SANGAM - Fabulous new restaurant on Rte. 202 near Concord Mall ... Wow! Can't say enough about this wonderful place, the food, the atmosphere, and best of all, the staff! I visited for the first time with my wife and other family members to celebrate her birthday. We frequent numerous Indian restaurants in the Wilmington/Newark area, but this is our NEW ALL-TIME FAVORITE! The staff were all wonderful. Four different people came to chat with us and make sure everything was just right for our visit--including one of the chefs who had crafted our order. They were the most lovely, and genuinely friendly, folks! We were all amazed at the exceptional quality and excellence of all the different items in our order. My wife always orders her favorite, Saag Paneer (or Palak Paneer), wherever we go. Some places get it right and others are so-so. Sangam totally hit it out of the park. All she could say over and over was how this was the most fantastic Saag Paneer she has ever been served! The seasoning was exceptional and (same as with all our dishes) the ingredients were very fresh and vibrant. Everything was just right--no lukewarm food. Even the butter naan was incredible--tasty, fresh and warm. The atmosphere was fantastic. Everything well-decorated, spacious, clean, and neat. We could have eaten off the floors! We didn't, though. :) Sangam, you will be seeing us a lot in the future, and we will spread the word. Thank you all. You obviously love...

Food is good but very very very SLOW SERVICE.. my waiter didn’t even care. We Waited for atleast 15 minutes to get the table then waited 25 minutes to order. Even to order I have to ask one random employee to please take the order.. so she finally did. Then again waited 30 minutes.. no response and no one Checked . Again asked one person to please bring the food only Masala dosa came.. I waited again for atleast 15 minutes to ask another girl on what happened to my biriyani?! She said 2 minutes and again wait and again someone said 3 minutes… couldn’t wait anymore lost all my appetite and mood to eat I asked them to please parcel and came out. Still gave the TIP. Which I shouldn’t have as there is no service, other than the one lady who took the order. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME. I will may be only take out from here and no more dining in. One day I came without kids to take care with my hubby but the service just SPOILED my evening. I liked only one girl there atleast she was feeling sorry. My person who has to handle my table didn’t even care and not even eye contact. May be she doesn’t like working there. Sorry ! Not a good experience. We are the people went in to dine and gave tips but had to Take out and leave with out...
