Brandywine Commons is a great mall that borders Northern Wilmington and the Claymont Delaware area. They have everything from small unique shops and restaurants with very eclectic menus. You can find almost any kind of meal that taste like it is made from your own kitchen but better. It is easy to find off Naamans Road close to Route 202 and just off of Route 95 in either direction north or south. My friend lives near Brandywine Commons and we make it a regular stop for food and often shopping. They have some incredible organic grocery & Spice shopping stores. I would say that you should bring very large shopping bags because there is usually something for everyone including the very large mall stores that you find typically around Cherry Hill and Philadelphia. I find the parking very easy at Brandywine Commons as well as the entrances and exits from three different directions. They are doing a lot of development of condominiums in that area. Read moreWe visited the Shop Rite grocery store in this strip as an alternative to our regular Acme because it was convenient to our ultimate destination. I would not recommend shopping there unless you only buy what is on sale that day. Prices on everything we bought were very high when compared to Acme, Giant, or Target. Fortunately, we only bought 12 items. The cashiers were not friendly or accommodating at all. I can understand why. The checkout lanes have the cashiers standing in the lane to use the checkout computer. Actually, in the way of pushing your cart through to where you have to bag your groceries.
