I have to start off by saying this is by far the worst place ever! I dropped my car off at 9 got a text around 10:30 that stated my car was ready. I get there i was handed the wrong keys but didn’t notice since my key looked the same. I searched for my car and things got strange when my car wasn’t in the parking lot so I went back in and was told it was a mistake ( ok that’s fine I thought) then was told it’s being worked on and it will be a half hour until it’s done . I went outside to tell my wife she can go back to work then in about 20 mins I was told they didn’t have the right led bulbs for my car but had them at the Dover store. They asked to reschedule but due to the fact my schedule is hectic I told them I couldn’t and I already paid for your service. Marlon the regional manager is who I dealt with told me he would have someone goto Dover and get the LEDs . It’s a two hr round trip . The guy he sent supposedly was back before that. So now I’m curious on what’s going on. I’m told my car was done and something didn’t seem right . I left it was not feeling right about it . I went back and asked for the box it came in and they brought out a box of leds from advance auto . So I confronted Marlon and the surprise in his face once he knew I knew he stole from me . Things got awkward and he tried to ignore me behind his computer monitor and wouldn’t offer any explanation. Wouldn’t give my money back because now his guys left and he wanted his advance auto leds back . So now I’m in a jam where I have to let people work on my car after I caught them stealing from me. Basically forced me into buying speakers half off ( more money out of my pocket ) to make things right. The only reason I went with it because I had to let them touch my car again . He want willing to work with me unless I was putting out more money . This place or should I say Marlon was very unprofessional and left me very uncomfortable. Now I have to pay someone to check and see if they actually put the real ones in a second time around . Im glad my wife and mother in law didn’t set the appointment for automatic remote start for their car. Didn’t think a regional manger would take advantage of me and basically stole from me and I was left with just him to deal with . I still hope there’s someone else I can talk to about this matter because as a company im sure no one wants this type of business and shady acts happening under their roof of business. You don’t steal from customers and and when confronted act as if it’s not a big problem! This could’ve been dealt with differently but now I need to reach out to everyone I can because no one should fear being stole from. Steven

Read moreProducts are excellent. My second time purchasing from sound of tri-state. My issue is with delivery. Sound of tri-state set up ups ground that you had to sign for at the physical address where delivery was set for. I live alone and work. So it took me almost a week of jumping through hoops to receive my package becuase sound of tri-state put a stipulation that the package could not be left at a pick up center, had to be delivered to the physical address and signed for. I missed a day of work and stayed home all day on that day my package was scheduled for delivery. My package did not get delivered on that date. Was not happy with that at all. This would be a reason for me to not order from sound of tri-state again. When I finally received my package I was more than happy with my purchase. Equipment was what I ordered and in excellent condition Due to excellent package packing by sound of tri-state " thanks guys". Box was in bad condition because of ups bad handling practices. I prefer FedEx, seen some of these ups guys in action, I prefer fedex. After the frustration had gone away and replaced with joy because of the excellent quality of the stereo equipment I received I will order from sound of tri-state again because after they read this review" I know they will not let this happen again!!!" Read moreOrdering from this company was nothing but frustration. I ordered a $900 stereo from Sound of Tri-State and was not informed that the item would be shipped signutere required. The issue is that I work till 10pm and can't be there to sign. Tried contacting UPS to have the stereo dropped off at a UPS drop off center so I can pick it up but UPS stated that SoTS had to change the drop off location and I couldn't do it as tge custome. Contacted SoTS and they told me that they could not change the location to a UPS drop off center. Contacted UPS again and UPS stated that SoTS could change the location as UPS has a contract with SoTS. Contacted SoTS again, and was told by shipping that they could change the location but would not because gheire a small business and worried about fraud. This is BS. Now I have $900 tied up in some company for the next 2 weeks because they refuse to help those who try to support them by making big purchases. Should have just ordered from Cruchfield. At t least Cruchfield is willing to work with their customers, and I wouldn't have had to deal with this.
