It's too bad the service at McAllister's is not better than it is because we do enjoy the food. I went into the restaurant to place a catering order as I have in the past. An employee went to get a manager to assist me, and I saw the manager decline to speak with me and instruct the worker to tell me to go online instead. The worker walked back to the front to advise me to go online to make a catering order.
So days later, I went online and made a catering order. The catering area of the website says "Same Day Consider your last-minute meetings, get-togethers, and celebrations handled."
I then placed a small catering order at least two hours before I needed it delivered. Toward the end of the time window, having heard nothing from the store, I called to inquire about my order. I reached the catering manager, who asked me if I received an email confirmation. I said no, I didn't see an email, but I did see an order confirmation page on my web order that did not say anything about a 24 hour advance notice requirement. Nor did the worker who the store manager sent to speak with me when I originally inquired.
I cancelled my order. I've received excellence service from the store and the catering manager in the past. Now, I am made to feel like a nuisance for purchasing food. Maybe I'll try again after a few months--maybe not--but for now, McAllister's can keep their pinwheels and their poor...

The woman read back my order and I made sure to ask if the first meal was ordered, she said yes and then we went up to pay. Then proceeded to wait 20 mins for our order to come. Once they brought it I soon realized that I didn't get my order so I checked the receipt and they didn't put my order on the ticket. So I went inside and found someone who looked like a manager and explained the problem. She rang me up and I stood and waited for my food for 15 mins. It was a turkey/ham sandwich. One of the people in my group came inside and said they were done eating. Finally the manager noticed our conversation and my face and yelled back to put a rush on the sandwich. The kitchen staff was repeatedly standing around and making the wait times longer then necessary. I emailed the corporate and they said to bring in my email for a few meal. I told them I didn't live in the area and they said they. Old give me a gift card to make up for the issue. It's been well over a month and I emailed them twice more and have no gift card. I noticed when I ordered I was not allowed the option on the doordash app to order an additional ah jus sauce. It was frustrating because I'm a type of person who likes extra of this. So imagine my frustration when my Dasher arrive can I meet him at the front door and say hey can you check my order for an ah jus ssuce. It wasn't in there not the Dashers fault but the restaurants fault they simply forgot to put it in. Now I have to choke down a French dip without this wonderful my favorite side sauce. To the person in charge who sets up the menu with doordash please add the simple option of purchasing more ah jus sauce. It's worth the corporate charge of paying for one more item on the doordash Menu it also would have kept your restaurant from getting a one-star if I had ordered let's say three of the sauces you might have left one in there versus...
