Biancas Gelatos and Paninis — Restaurant in Chandler

Good grief, how do you mess up gelato? My mocha almond fudge "gelato" didn't taste like anything different from store-brand "whipped air" ice cream - plus it had been melted & refrozen, resulting in ice crystals, which sort of ruined the already "meh" supposedly-gelato. My wife's Ferrero Rocher "gelato" was better than mine, but still didn't taste like gelato and was still "airy" rather having the density & intensity of flavor I expect from gelato. But at least it didn't have ice crystals like mine did.

At $4.99 plus tax for a single scoop indifferently & sloppily slammed into a cup by a disinterested youngster, this not-quite-gelato wasn't exactly a bargain. We probably won't go out of our way to get here, in the future. We'll try another place in the hope of finding gelato that tastes...
