Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Chandler

Great pizzas with quality toppings and creative, tasty combinations!! I got the 10” “ McKinley “ pizza, it tastes as great as it looks. The pizzas are made to order and it came out to my table unbelievably fast. When the cashier Mathias said it would be “10 minutes” for my pizza, I kind of didn’t believe him. It actually came out in that or less! Mathias also provided great customer service, me being a first time customer, I had a ton of questions. He answered them all with courtesy and kindness which in todays times, is a rarity. I saw the salad bar and almost added that but I just didn’t have the ability to eat all of that. They have lunch specials until 2 pm that are a GREAT value and the salad bar is included in some. I’ll be back for those for sure! The dining area, restroom and the salad bar were VERY clean, which is amazing given it is late lunchtime here on a Friday.

I saw them as I went to The Sportsman’s Warehouse (just 100 yards away in parking lot) and the employees there said this was a great place so I tried it and I’m glad I did!

I love mountain mikes, been having it since the 90's in california, I was excited to see there are a few here in AZ. My husband and I came for the second time to Chandler location on 4/22. We waited over half an hour for our pizza large pepperoni, (we call it) combination, and mozzarella sticks. We were dining in and the staff boxed it up and set it for pick-up, receipt clearly stated Dine-in. The whole time we were there, one of the employees had family members there, the adults were loud and obnoxious, and the employee had to tell the kids to stop running (The employees herself said they were family). This same employee realized our pizza was boxed and by the time the pizza was brought to us, it was no longer hot and fresh but somewhat warm and stale. We drove from surprise just for Mountain Mikes, I was believing we would be making the drive on a regular basis, but was so disappointed. Will wait to visit california for mountain...

I tried this place with my family for the first time and was not disappointed. We ordered different pizzas, garlic knots, and fries. The quality and freshness of the ingredients was imminent upon taste. Everything was very pleasant. As a Jersey born girl that can get disappointed in any pizza that's not east coast style, I was far from disappointed in this alternative pizza. My only criticisms are minor:

1. the veggie pizza had large slices of tomatoes placed on top which I did not eat
2. I wish there was a cauliflower crust option
3. to be inclusive, a vegan cheese option
4. the marinara sauce in a cup was pulled from a fridge and therefore cold

Bathrooms are unisex and clean. There are tables with chairs and booths, many TV's with sports all around. The person taking our order was kind, provided suggestions for the kids, and worked with us answering all of our questions.

Will most definitely return...
