Their spring rolls have gone downhill.
Today I ordered chow mein for lunch. Look up "chow mein" in any dictionary. "Mein" is "noodle" in Cantonese. See the photo to see that what Great Wall calls "chow mein" is not real chow mein and has no noodles.
First time I called in I was told that the manager would call me back. They did not call me back so I called again an hour later. The man who answered this time fully understood and told me to just bring the order back any time for a free exchange for any noodle meal. Great.
Some hours later when I was available to drive back there I called so they could make the replacement order. First I spoke to a woman and was told that the manager would call me back. I said that this afternoon I was told that and that nobody would call me back. She told me that she understood and this time I would really get a call back. I did not. When I called back over an hour later I spoke to her again and she said she was forwarding me to her "boss" but the call never went through and the line eventually disconnected. After that I called in again and spoke to Jillian (male) who again forwarded my call to the manager and again the call just disconnected.
Let me summarize what you can expect if they mess up your order: If they tell you that they will make it right, don't believe it, because the next time you contact them you will speak to people who know nothing about that obligation and will insist that you take it up with a boss or manager who is never available. Read moreDon’t go here. Their menu states that the seafood combination comes with lobster tail. I paid 15+ tax BECAUSE of the lobster tail. When i brought the food home, i noticed there was no lobster tail. I called the restaurant and they told me i must be on the wrong site because their menu doesn’t say that. Below i have posted photos, with the address on the website and the menu where it claims there is lobster tail. I was then told they have no lobster tail (which proves we weren’t trying to get over on them) ; they told us we had to bring the meal back for a refund, so i explained i would not drive back on their misleading advertisement without gas money from THEM ; so they suggested we bring the food back and the boss will call us about the gas refund like we just need to believe them.. so then we said “ok then how about giving us a discount so we keep the food but you make it right since your website was misleading”, eventually I knew they weren’t willing to be honest nor honorable so I’m leaving the review here. Spend your money on places that can hold themselves accountable for their mistakes. This one is unfortunately not one of them. I have enjoyed them for many years but after going through this, it’s the dishonesty that will be the reason i encourage everyone to seek elsewhere. The guy cut me off when I asked about Black Peppered Chicken. He said to go online and see what they have since I have a "Smart Phone." I explained that I didn't and I tried online.
He continued and said, "Come to the store because we don't have broth chicken." "I didn't say that sir, I said Black Pepper Chicken," I replied.
"We don't have Black chicken, you have to come to the store. We're busy. I have lots of customers. Thanks you." Then he disconnected the call.
My first time trying to be a customer on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 11:25 am and apparently his restaurant is doing so well that being respectful enough to gain a new customer was unnecessary...
