We have dined here for brunch and dinner several times and have never been disappointed. It is the closest thing in Charleston to dining in Antibes or anywhere along the Côte d’Azur. An eclectic French menu, a nice wine list and some terrific dessert choices make this an easy choice for brunch, lunch or dinner. Selections are plentiful and there are dishes that can satisfy most dietary needs. We think they have the best French toast in town and their dinner appetizers are shareable and inventive. They have interesting takes on French classics like Croque Monsieur and Croque Madam along with traditional dishes like Beef Burgundy and Duck Confit. We enjoyed making meals from a selection of appetizers and you can design your own charcuterie platters. Decor is upscale French modern with indoor and outdoor dining. Lighting is good, you can actually read the menu and there are nice selections of beers and special cocktails. Indoors can get a bit loud when occupancy is high and outdoor dining is uncovered so you might be shutout of a reservation if raining. The restaurant is well located within easy walking to everything in the market area of the historic district. Parking is conveniently close by and there is an adjoining event space converted from the original wine bar. Prices are reasonable for downtown charleston and the staff is efficient and considerate. Overall this is an excellent addition to dining in Charleston and we give it five Google stars or four clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale (FIG is still the only five clam rated fine dining restaurant in Charleston but four clams is an extremely...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Azur in Charleston, SC, and it was truly a five-star experience from start to finish. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of perfection.

Now, let's talk about the food. Azur's menu is a culinary journey through Europe, with each dish expertly crafted to tantalize the taste buds. From the French classics to Italian delights and Spanish tapas, every bite was bursting with flavor and artfully presented.

And let's not forget about the wine selection. Azur boasts an impressive collection of fine wines from the old world, perfectly complementing the diverse flavors on the menu. The knowledgeable staff helped us pair the perfect wine with our meal, elevating the dining experience even further.

As for the ambiance, Azur strikes the perfect balance between elegant and inviting. The charming decor transports you to a quaint European bistro, while the warm lighting creates a cozy atmosphere that's perfect for an intimate dinner or a lively gathering with friends.

And last but certainly not least, the homemade desserts were the cherry on top of an already delightful meal. Each dessert was a work of art, and the flavors were simply divine.

In summary, Azur is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Charleston. With outstanding service, delectable food, an impressive wine selection, and a charming ambiance, it's no wonder why this bistro has earned a...

I had the pleasure of dining at Azur recently, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From start to finish, Azur exudes excellence.

The atmosphere at Azur is simply amazing. It's a harmonious blend of elegance and comfort that instantly sets the stage for a delightful evening.

Now, let's talk about their cocktails. The Old Fashioned at Azur is nothing short of fantastic. The mixology here is top-notch, and every sip was a journey through perfectly balanced flavors. It's a must-try for any cocktail enthusiast.

The real star of the show was the smoked salmon. It's no exaggeration to say that it's the best thing on their menu I have had so far. The salmon was impeccably smoked, incredibly tender, and bursting with flavor. Paired with the right accompaniments, it was a true culinary masterpiece.

Azur's service is equally remarkable. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure you have a memorable dining experience. Their knowledge of the menu and attention to detail are commendable. You feel genuinely cared for from the moment you walk in.

One more thing to note is the restaurant's convenient downtown location. Easy accessibility is always a plus, especially when you're looking for a great spot to dine in the heart of the city.

In summary, Azur is a gem of a restaurant that deserves every bit of its five-star rating. It's a place where ambiance, cocktails, and cuisine come together to create a truly unforgettable dining experience. I can't wait to return to Azur for another...
