Bar 4808 — Restaurant in Charlotte

If I could give zero stars I would. So, I’ll credit this one star to the kitchen staff because the wings were great.

We walk in and sit down. Not many people in the restaurant. No one greets us. 10 minutes later a man who was at a table eating and cutting up with his friends comes and takes the gentleman’s drink order that had just walked in. He did not acknowledge us at all. Also, to mention he was going back and forth eating and then serving drinks without washing his hands.

Multiple bartenders continue to walk by us without speaking. We finally ask to place a drink order. That was simple and fine. We then order our food. In the meantime, no one checks back in and 3 of the bartender/server employees each had people they’ve invited to the bar and are sitting with them!

Very nice hotel and very terrible bar/restaurant. We mentioned it to the hotel staff and they said the manager for the restaurant was there and we could speak further with them, but no one in this established seemed fit to be or acted like any sort of manager. So, no we were fine. Paid for our items and left.

Should call Bar Rescue on this place.

We had to leave after 20 minutes of waiting for service. Having one bartender to cover the bar and table service on PGA weekend is unacceptable on a Saturday night of such a large opportunity. Also, Sunday, after the final round, same thing... Service was unacceptable, however we stayed for late drinks, undercooked cooked burgers and fries. Terrible management!!!!! There was one server on Saturday, she did not attempt to meet people are grow the sales, rather chatted with bar folks as table people became frustrated and left. On the biggest day, Sunday, the guy tried but, again too many people. He was running for food and covering too many people. Unacceptable management across the board, I am questioning if I will again stay with Hilton again. I was a loyal Hilton user, not looking at Hilton next time. ...

Enjoyed watching Monday night football at the bar & eating dinner. I got the buffalo wings - beware, they do not taste at all like buffalo wings. They were good but to me, tasted like some kind of a rub. They were nice & crispy. The sweet potato fries were fantastic! My husband got a chicken club & regular fries.
