Problems:
Horrid undercooked ill-prepared food..
Unsupervised staff of at least 7 people standing around focused on everything but food preparation, sanitation, customer service, etc..
Bag seemed like it was used, crumpled with stains and grease..
Cashier was a young lady who cared but was probably overwhelmed by the older, lazy, incompetent Co-workers meandering at the behind-the-counter "Hangout spot"
Loud, unprofessional conversations by males with various uniform standards (no gloves, masks, hats, shirts untucked)
Overt look of sadness, and despair on some employees..
Sad, dangerous place to purchase food you plan to ingest..
Solutions:
Train the trainers: set clear corporate-driven expectations of shift leaders and store management
Challenge your employees: introduce the daily working standards and incentivise your employees (bonuses, skill challenges, weekly/quarterly/monthly MANDATORY training tasks to complete)
Push the value of detail: From a bag in the parking lot, to proper seasoning, to proper in person or phone greeting.. Let your employees know that people SPEND MORE MONEY when they REMEMBER A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE..More money means bonuses, store upgrades, employee incentives and MORE PAY..
Manage the environment: use creative clever problem solving to diffuse tensions, build trust and communication.. OPEN DOOR POLICY by leaders..
If you're not cooking or serving YOURE CLEANING..
Hire an internal or outside agency to inspect and evaluate your business.
Open the door to feedback: Ask your employees, customers, and suppliers to give feedback.. ACT ON THE FEEDDBACK
PAY YOUR PEOPLE: Unfortunately, Fast Food is a multi-billion dollar industry, while wages are ridiculously low.. Provide bonuses, vacations, raises and other incentives to retain quality employees and improve your service

Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt had been years since I had stepped foot into a Burger King. But I had been getting coupons for their meals in the mail with all the sale papers, and with this location being walking distance from my workplace, I decided to give it a try. It seems like the portion sizes that you get these days aren't what I remember from years ago, but the prices are not that bad, and are downright cheap with the coupons... compared to their big M competitor. I've been here twice in the past two weeks and the staff were nice, service was quick, and the food was hot and fresh. Oh, and they have a Coca Cola Freestyle machine which even offers Surge!!! From the reviews, it seems like the quality of service is hit or miss depending on the time of day and who's working. Both of my visits were around lunchtime. From my observations, I think the restaurant could be a bit cleaner, but it wasn't anything near as bad as I have seen. I would post a photo of the place, but they have a sign on the door that states "No photography or...

I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment regarding the unacceptable experience my elderly mother (80 years old) and I had at this Burger King location today. Upon attempting to enter, we were denied service and told that due to being short-staffed, the store was closing early and was not admitting customers. Additionally, we were informed that staff did not want to take the risk of being robbed.
This level of mismanagement is completely unacceptable. Denying service to two women, including an elderly lady, due to staffing issues and vague security concerns is both discriminatory and absurd. If this location cannot operate properly, where is the management oversight to ensure customers are treated with respect and dignity and provided with the service they expect?
This experience has severely impacted my perception...
