I frequently visit this Dunkin (so much so the cook knows my order) I always have a pleasant experience with the staff but today was a different story because I unfortunately had to interact with the wannabe “manager” Mike/Micheal. I’ve witnessed him on numerous occasions belittling his coworkers and just overall doesn’t have a pleasant demeanor about him. I understand the hard work they do to get people ready in the mornings but you can tell this job is too stressful for him. As soon as I walked up to the register he say”go to the kiosk because we’re too busy to take orders” well hello to you to(what I was thinking) I just patiently wait till someone can take my order(I like the cream cheese on my bagel , I have a long drive a lot of the time so the convenience of the cream cheese already on the bagel helps for me. That’s not an option on the kiosk ) after a few minutes someone comes and takes my order, I get my order (smile and thank the cook) processed to walk out and noticed my cup was leaking. I come back and I try to get someone’s attention at the front( was ignored 4/5) till I raised my voice and said “Excuse me” I wasn’t sure if they could hear me cause I can talk softly and the music could be too loud for anyone hearing me. I got the guy who took my order’s attention he was nice and smiled(that’s how I know I my raised voice wasn’t offensive) gave me a new cup to put under my leaking cup. That’s when Mike/Micheal decided to yell at me saying “you don’t need to yell” I responded I wasn’t trying to yell just wanted to get someone’s attention I apologize if you took offense to it” (I use to work in customer service for many years/was raised to treat everyone with kindness) I would never talk down to someone. He just continued to yell at me telling me I didn’t need to yell. Alright now he’s being completely unprofessional so I ask him his name 3x and he wouldn’t tell me said” he doesn’t have time for me” I responded I’m a customer that’s all you have time for” the manager comes out and I explain to him what happened and even had other customers co-signing saying I had been asking for another cup for a while. As all of this is going on Mike/Micheal is in the background running his mouth still. The manager is the one who had to give me his name and as I’m leaving Mike/Micheal is still running his mouth. This was such an ugly/unprofessional encounter that I’ve never experienced before and I visit there a lot so now I’m second guessing to ever go back here again cause I wouldn’t be able to trust him with my food/beverage's. I’m just very disappointed and have reached out to corporate praying they do something about him. I didn’t force him to apply and work in a highly demanding environment, he chose that. If he can’t handle it then he should find...
Read moreWhy reviews are importants because it paints a picture of the overall customer experience. Although we know not all customers are right if you get alot of bad reviews the experience is true. I went here 2 weeks ago and order and egg , sausage on crossiant. it was cold and the meat was still frozen. When i do go to dunkin, i usually get that sandwich and it has never been cold if anything it is so hot i have to wait to eat it. However due to time we did not go in to complain. Fast forward today. My husband i went there only because it was on our way to where we had to be again. I thought maybe they were rushing and i will simply ask them to make surecit is not cold. I did not have an attitude at all. I ask can you please make sure it not cold. Instead of saying no problem young lady and gentleman argued it comes cold. That sandwich is never served cold. The meat was still cold and the egg. The atittude made me leave and go to another dunkin. Which my sandwich was (no surprise) not cold, it was HOT. My chesse was melted that is how warm it was. I didnt say anything to see how it was ordered. This could of been handle differently by just heating it for 20 more or 30 seconds. No the attitudes by the staff was not needed. Your work ethics is built young people at jobs like these. I know some customers give you a hard time but pick and choice your battles. Not...
Read moreIt’s Saturday morning and yes, the place is busy especially the drive thru area. However, we went inside to order our breakfast and an older gentleman was trying to use the kiosk to place his order. He didn’t know how to use it and we asked the staff if they could assist him and the employee said,” I don’t have a register open, use the kiosk!” The older gentleman said,”All I want is four Boston Kreme donuts, that’s all.” The male employee had an attitude, slammed the donuts in a box and slid it to him! The customer wanted to pay and since no one had the time to take care of him, he walked out with his donuts without paying! LOL! We tried to place our order with the kiosk and the pastries we wanted weren’t on there to order. They had 5 employees behind the register and not one of them bothered to ask if we needed help. What ever happened to good customer service? We went to the drive thru and placed our order. The coffee was so so and the pastries weren’t all that great and that’s disappointing because we bypass the DD in our town to drive to this one because the food, coffee and customer service was always good. You only have to show me once what type of business you truly are....
