McDonald's — Restaurant in Charlotte

On vacation, only thing open near the hotel at 11:18PM. Ordered successfully and paid. Went to pick up window, a large frappe I ordered and paid for was not available because the machine was inoperable. Was given an Oreo McFlurry instead. The employee then pulled the trash bag out of the trash can with gloves on. With the same gloves, gave me my meal in a bag. I asked for the two sauce I ordered to go with my nuggets, she stated they didn’t have those particular sauce, she was just arriving and didn’t know what was going on. I then asked for a refund. She took the food back through the window and placed it on the counter. Other employees gave her the sauce I wanted and she put that sauce in the bag with my food using the same gloves she used to take a TRASH BAG out of a trash can. She proceeded to give me the same bag of food that is now contaminated and I informed her I did not want anything from this establishment and would like my refund. An employee I assumed was the manager came to the window to find out what was going on and proceeded to refund my card. This was 8/1/2020, today is 8/9/2020 and my refund has not processed and my bank does not have any pending transactions. I called to talk to a manager (Chantel) today to explain the situation, I was rudely interrupted because she clearly was not listening and told me that their Oreo McFlurry machine is down so that didn’t happen today, clearly I said 8/1/2020, she then tells me I need to talk to the store manager because there is nothing she can do. Actually what could have been done was to let me finish explaining what your employees have done, taken my information and giving it to your store manager so she could contact me but instead I now have to wait until tomorrow to contact the store manager (Ziti) in the morning to get this resolved. No apologies or anything. Very unsanitary, unorganized and poor...

I went to this McDonald’s on Tryon St and I sometimes go here for a little midnight snack. This time I had been waiting in the drive thru for almost 15 minutes in the second line which was no problem at all. Someone further back in the line honked their horn and one of the employees came through on my speaker saying “don’t honk your horn, etc.” and I politely explained that that wasn’t me who honked their horn and that it was someone a few cars back that did. I then waited another 10 minutes in the line while others in the closet line we’re getting their orders taken and the next time the employee got back on my speaker she said “I talked to my manager, I am not serving you since you honked your horn.” I politely explained again “oh, that wasn’t me who honked their horn, that was another driver.” And she still refused to serve me despite the fact that I told her this multiple times and she simply said, rudely “I am watching you, I can see you.” And I said again “I understand but that wasn’t me who honked their horn earlier, I have just been sitting here, that’s all.” And she said again “I can see you, you have a good night.” After waiting for almost 30 minutes to just have some comfort end of the night food I was accused of honking my horn when I didn’t and I was talked to in a disrespectful manner and told to leave when I had done nothing wrong. I know it sounds dumb but it was not alright to be waiting that long only to be wrongly accused of something I didn’t do when all I wanted was a burger and fries. I will not be coming back to this McDonald’s because of that employees disrespect...
