Update: I still haven't received a refund! Thank goodness CLT has some great local coffee shops. Check out Cup Lux, Canal Coffee, Burr and Berry, Haraz Coffee, Summit Coffee, Percantile, and so many more! The coffee is superior, and the customer service is stellar at the local coffee spots!
Update: I never received a refund. So, Starbucks got paid for a drink that I couldn't even use. Haven't been there since. It's not worth the waste of time, money, or frustration. Still patronizing only local coffee spots with lower prices and higher quality coffee and food. I drive past several SB to get to the best local spots in CLT, and it's still worth it!
My son went to get me a drink from this location, and once again, they messed up! This is why I haven't gone to this location in a while. The drink was supposed to be a 3-shot decaf gingerbread latte, soy, and 1 pump of gingerbread syrup... but this is what we got! I requested a refund, and it was such a hassle. It's absolutely ridiculous. Still don't know if I will get the refund. The caffeine in that drink literally could've harmed me. This location is trash. Also, getting through to someone via phone is impossible. The number listed on Google and the SB app does not go to the store. Also, calling corporate is a joke! The number of times I had to repeat myself was exhausting.

Read moreWas heading out with a friend to return to Winston-Salem from Charlotte and wanted sandwiches to go with our Vanilla Bean Frappicinos, mine with oatmilk and hers with a shot of espresso. To begin with, the kid on the drive through speaker missed his calling to be an auctioneer. He also was apparently new and had not gotten sufficient training. After multiple times (while enunciating VERY clearly) he still could not understand that we wanted two drinks, each with a different special request. They also were out of the two sandwiches we wanted, so I settled for a breakfast sandwich, which took several tries to clarify, and which they microwaved to the point of being rubbery. When we got to the window, we had to explain the drink order again then wait for them to harvest the vanilla beans, I think. When we finally got the drinks, they had used so much vanilla bean powder as to make them almost undrinkable.
To be fair, I had gotten the same drink the day before from the morning shift, and that experience was as it should be. However, I feel that getting an order correct and in a timely manner doesn't overcome spending $16 for poor food and setvice. So I only added a star to my original score. I...
Read moreI came to Starbucks today which is 6/12, I wanted a coffee before I head to work and I checked google and it said that they open at 5:30am. This location is on my way to work and I never been to this one before so with the timing it worked perfect. I got there at 5:31 and I was hesitant because it didn’t look open but decided to go in and ask if they where open the lady said in a few minuets so I waited and just the energy I can tell they where upset with me and I understand I’m the first customer they are setting up I’ve worked in food before so I totally understand I try my hardest not to be “that person” because I totally understand but at the same time it does say it’s open and I wouldn’t say anyone was rude but you can definitely tell.
