Goodwill - Albemarle Rd. — Local services in Charlotte

I will NEVER visit this location again! Nor will I EVER Donate another item to ANY Goodwill! I buy $200-$400 a week for people in need and donate another $500-$600 a month, but never again!

I brought a friend's daughter here to buy clothing for school due to her cutting up all of her clothes. She has some behavioral problems and even made a scene in the store (so I know they remember us!) Anyways, I called the next day because the clothes she picked out were not appropriate for school and she had misplaced the receipt or it was not placed in the bag. Either way, we were told that her mother could not exchange them.. She is on a limited income and could not afford to buy more, which is why I offered to take her daughter shopping. They stated they had remembered us from the previous day, but were not willing to help us out in any way!

I feel that this was very wrong and their Customer Service is AWFUL!

This store is also the worst I have ever been to! There are always EXTREMELY LONG Lines and only one cashier, even though there are four other employees walking around the store.

I will NEVER shop or donate here again! I donate to the local shelters and I now go to Bargain Hunters, their prices are MUCH CHEAPER! ( $1.50-$3.50 per item )

this monday april 3rd i decide to do some shopping at goodwill albemard rd it was the first time that i do in this one i usually do my shopping in that of sardis. my car being in the garage I had two car seats for my children once I finished my shopping, I asked the cashier's permission if I could keep my car sests wt my purchases next to the re-entry of the store while I go get something quick at Walmart right next door I'm told yes I then drop off my purchases and my car seats I go to Walmart on my return I no longer find my purchases and my purchases when I ask for the dowry I had I'm not allowed to drop off my things there so they're all taken and put them in their warehouse I was able to have my car seats with my pressure cooker that I had bought there they lost my dress shirt and my night light that I also had paid in the same store. they reimbursed me for my dress and my shirt but not my night light which was already paid. I Don't go to this goodwill often but since we were on this side of town, we stopped by. This location definitely has more stuff. However, I allowed my 2 year old to sit and ride on a toy he found while I looked around. He was quiet and just following me when an employee said he couldn't play with a toy. I was baffled...never have I heard of this and he certainly wasn't bothering anyone or in the way. After taking the toy away, my little one was certainly upset. I walked away with a screaming baby but moments later he found the same toy. I didn't see a problem and allowed him to sit on it until I could find something else to preoccupy him with. The same employee then took the toy and placed it in a bin of stuffed animals so my child could not reach it. I understand retail but this is goodwill where there merchandise is donated. There were other children in the store playing with things and this really upset me. After this, im not interested in going back to this location. Not to mention, the parking is...
