Horrendous customer service:
Just ordered a TV from this place. Money got held. Order got cancelled. Now I’m waiting for my money back. This is only 20% of the problem. The other 80% is attributed to this place’s terrible communication, and attitude towards their customers.
Called this store (that I ordered from) and got some extremely rude lady on the phone who looked to be rushing me off. After going through 4-5 minutes of prompting, all I asked was to be transferred to the pickup department. The lady asks “why?”, I say because I need to reach the pickup department (obviously?). Lady gives me more attitude and asks why do I need them. I mentioned the hold on my account and my TV order being cancelled with zero reason as to why. She cuts me off and says “If you want a refund, call 1-800 WALMART”. I respond by saying the issue isn’t that I want a refund, but I’m looking for the reason my order was cancelled. She insists that I call customer service, which I currently was.. because that’s how I got on the phone with them. I then state verbatim “Listen, you’re giving me a ton of attitude and I just want the pickup department-“ and before I can finish, the phone is slammed in my face.
Calling back, I’m heated, but upon hearing a different voice answer, I keep my calm because this person didn’t do anything wrong to me. I’m not going to ruin this person’s day because of an incompetent coworker.
She routes me to her management, who swears they can’t find who answered the phone, they don’t know who I’m referring to, and this must’ve been a person from a different department. But while also identifying the issue, the store manager does absolutely zero to try to rectify the situation with the rude customer service. He informs me that the cancellation was because they were out of stock, and that there wouldn’t be any other way to get the TV besides waiting for the refund and to re-order.
Basically, all I got from this store is that they can’t keep track of stock, they have zero communication or accountability measures, their management doesn’t care and you’re better off shopping at another Walmart unless you have no other option.
I don’t expect much from Walmart because when I set higher expectations, I’m reminded that I should’ve expected the bare minimum, if that. Stay away from this place unless you need nothing more than some produce and maybe a pack of water. Every other department runs...
Read moreI go here all the time bc it convenient. They usually have the item I need. Suprisingly, the store have more practical items than the super store. The customer service on the otherhand, its never perfect. You go to up an employee and ask where the item location is. The forst thing they do is pull out their device and search for it. Most of the time, its never where it says it is bc they’re constantly moving stuff around. The quantity of the item is based on how much they received from shipping. So it shows 12 in stock and they sold them all. Itll still say 12 in stock on the app. Mainly its the human interaction between customers and employee the reason why I rather order online, if i havto physically go to the store, I use self checkout. This morning, I bought an item which had a manufacturer defect and not just the item I purchased but other of the same item on shelf. I addressed this to customer service. One lady who was helping me said she had to review the footage. I said of what? She said to see the item i bought has the seal is intact. I took it as if she think im trying to steal or something. I told her the seal was intact and its not just this but possibly others. I just wanted an simple exchange or she couldve offered a refund. She got very defensive and gave me the company script, at that point i was no longer talking to a human being. She told me to come back around 12 to review said footage. There was nothing more i can say to have her help me, I left. I expected customers service to have a solution customers problem. Its not worth the drama to deal with people who arent even knowledgeable about the store. Its bad if the customer know more about the store than the employees. they can have my money. that the last time I’ll shop there. Online order are more time saving and i dont havto deal with talking to people that dont care. Better yet amazon prime from now on. If I havto go to a walmart. It wont...
Read moreSince we have come to charlotte we have gone to Walmart on Albemarle rd. One good reason is their pharmacy and they are priced far better than big pharm. I noticed that one day long ago when I went to one on WT Harris and come out with drugs about 20-330% above what Walmart had charged a few months later. I don’t know exactly when, but I have been going to my Walmart ever since. For a time frame we came here in 1996 when we moved to the house we’re in now! So, yeh! A long time. I gave 4 stars because sometimes, especially in the beginning it tended to be messy and dirty. However, over the years it began to clean up and become more organized. The people we see are nicer though admittedly they are rather sparse and can be difficult to reach. Now with so many thieves in America (I’m sure you’ve heard the news about people that just believe in doing things for their own benefit and who cares about the ultimate cost to everyone involved) but I digress: When the products are locked up and require someone to open them, that tends to slow the shopping down a great deal. But again short of not having enough staff, it is not as bad as it could be considering the facts that ultimately caused it. If Walmart would pay a better pay, I would likely consider a position. However, I guess I will find out this summer when I need a job from driving school busses. There is one thing I wish they could build to… a super Walmart. But I know they do not have room for it. And the others are a little too far away for a prescription pick up and generally too crowded. Make your choices. But Albemarle has improved so I am not straying away from around the corner yet! I would have to move accordingly! Thank you and when you go, try smiling at the people serving you! You really don’t know how much they appreciate it! Have...
