Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Charlotte

This has been the worse experience i have had with chipotle. staff was extremely rude, understaffed. only 1 person on the line, 2 on register. 1 on the grill. over 12 people in line behind me. they did not call any one else for assistance, they were completely out of chicken and brown rice. i was asked if i wanted to wait for the rice, yet the line was getting longer so i opted to have the white rice, to then not have chicken available and was only just put on the grill so would not be available for some time. once i adjusted my order as a courtesy to the others in line that had been waiting. i paid for my food, 1 cashier looked like she was in training and the 2nd seemed to not want to be there and was just rude. they also did not have any ice available and the cashier seemed pissed off that i asked if the drinks would be cold or hot since the ice was not working. i paid and they moved on to the next customer, that also had a hard time ordering due to understaff and product not available yet i had forgotten to get chips so i came back to the cashier which informed me i would have to wait at the end of the line even though i had just finished paying. which was absurd considering everyone was taking so long on the line to order since they had to adjust their order due to availability. i told her i can wait till she was done with that one customer and can pay real quick while the next customer orders. she seemed so annoyed yet i was not about to wait for over 30 minutes due to the staff's short comings on product availability. cashier then proceeded to charge me a bag of chips which was beyond empty. so i asked for 2 large bags which she blew out air like i was asking for her to pay like it was not her job. getting these chips took over 15 minutes( i had 3 other people waiting for me to eat at the table). i finally sat down to eat to have the chips all overcooked and burned. by then i was down with this location and just...

Short Version This is a fairly new location that just opened in 2021. At my first visit, the staff was not friendly, they acted tired and frustrated. They were also out of a lot of food items like lettuce, chips, queso and corn. So I decided to give the same location another chance at another date. At my second visit attempt the service was even worst than the first visit. The second visit was horrible from the front line staff to the manager! When I arrived there was no greeting and there was just a line that seem to consist of 4 other people and 3 others standing off to the side that were waiting on their online order. I stood in line for about 15 minutes but our line NEVER moved and the staff was NOT communicating with no one. I was concerned about what was going on so I begin to question the couple in front of me. All in all the 5 of us were told by a man waiting on his online order that we must order online only. By the time we did it was 10:47pm and too late. We asked for the manager and when he came out he heard our concerns. He apologized and just stated he would talk to the staff for not communicating and acknowledging us waiting in a line but took no accountability for his failed efforts for not posting any signs. He also refused to serve us and then walked away with attitude and cursing as he walked away! After this incident I've been seeing and reading other reviews on Google Maps, Yelp and etc about this restaurants poor service, the lack of customer service and the rude manager! If I could put no stars, I would they are ridiculous! Today I stood in line for an entire hourrr! It most definitely could have been avoided if the employees were actually doing their job. There were only three of them that actually were doing something. But there were two girls that just kept sitting on the phones. The guy that was doing my food asked for white rice twice she looked at him and kept sitting on her phone, and then the two girls were just standing around in the back, laughing together. THERE WAS A WHOLE LINE THEY COULD HAVE AT LEAST DONE SOMETHING. It was ridiculous. There were online orders order after order I know that the girls could have been doing that while the guy and other lady that took our orders could’ve taken the big line that was waiting everyone for sure stood for an hour or more just like we did. One of the workers just came up while there are so many orders to get done and started making his own food and taking his sweet time and then just left! I’m sorry I’m just so angry. I had to get some errands done before seven because I had to be somewhere important and had a very busy day but instead of running all those errands, I just stood in a line which could’ve been avoided by those two women that did absolutely nothing!! I will never be coming back there. This is not a first time. I don’t know why they’re even open still. And I will most definitely tell people I know to never go there because every single time I’ve been there I’ve never had one...
