Food Lion — Local services in Charlotte

Today I went to shop at food lion Store #1080 on albermale road The store is always clean and customer service is always welcoming but today a young man was shopping and he was in the same line that I was in… his name is Dylan. I believe he’s one of the store managers and I was in line. I brought a thing of vegetable oil and a bottle of wine, the vegetable oil I thought it didn’t ring up the correct price, even though Dylan was not on the clock. He still went out his way to check that price and then when it was time for the young lady to ring up the wine, it did not ring up at price at all so he went above and beyond to go search for that wine and make sure it was the correct price so the young lady could type the correct price for the wine that I wanted … with all that said this your man deserves a raise for his customer service while he was not on the clock!!! I will continue to shop at the store thank...

I have never had to go to customer service before, but today I had the worst experience ever. I am still standing in line to do a food lion item return and the person ahead of me is doing a Western Union transaction that is taking so long. I understand problems may occur with the western union system, but no one from customer service was able to open another register to assist me. I have been on the line for about 35 minutes now and not even an apology for the wait was given by the customer service cashier. By the way, the manager came out saw what was happening, and went right back to the back while 4 other customers were waiting in line. Corporate definitely needs to evaluate this site's staff on customer service because clearly,...

The daytime manager who works the 9am-5pm is a thick older lady who has blond hair. She faulsly accused me of stealing meat from the store .. week prior to her confronting me. As I tried to tell the lady she has the. Wrong person it wasn't me she started to raise her voice becoming so loud that now other people are focused in on what's been said. Again I try to tell the lady it wasn't me and she then says and I quote "if I wasn't on camera oh I would...you are Lucky .." at that moment a man who also works at a food lion came up and told the lady to calm down. As if I was doing something to pump her up!! I keep walking to the closet exit only saying it wasn't me I swear u got me confused with someone else...so wow if u got to the food lion on Albemarle rd .
