I placed an order on the Wendy’s app for delivery today. The store is supposed to close at 2am and my order was placed well before the specified time. They told the driver they ran out of crispy chicken therefore, they can not fulfill the order which was after making the driver sit and wait for a while only to say they ran out after the fact. Then another driver was on their way to the store after the first driver left not knowing what was happening because the store failed to cancel my order. I had to call Wendy’s support and they tried calling the store as well. They could have instantly canceled the order. I wish I could have another location to order from however, they are the closest and it was preset to them. I will not be ordering again for a while because that is poor customer service. What frustrated me the most is that they wasted my time from ordering from another restaurant instead of just being straightforward. I called the store three times and they ignored my calls and only communicated with the driver. This is not the first time I had a issue ordering delivery from them. They once gave the wrong order to my driver and I ordered about three meals so imagine how upset I was when I received the drinks I ordered with one meal in the bag which contained bacon, it was not even the same burger I ordered. The driver said that is what they were handed which was someone else’s delivery order. If you do not like working fast food, it is common sense to go to college and earn a degree, no one is forcing you to be there. Either go to college or do something you enjoy doing because you make other people have bad experiences because you have this I don’t care attitude and I don’t want to...
Read moreSo person running drive through was nonchalant and unprofessional in the way she spoke. Almost like everything was a bother. Also said they were only taking Apple Pay and Cash. Then even though my bill was $24.00 they couldn't or wouldn't make change for a $100 dollar bill. So we had to come up with a couple of $20. Was afraid she was going to also say they couldn't make change but they did. This after sitting in line for over 30 minutes then pulling up for all this then still sitting there and waiting for them to cook 3 tripple daves. One without cheese & mayo. One with extra onion. And one with extra pickle. The one with no cheese came out of the bag perfect. The other two were smashed down in the bottom of the bag and one was not wrapped properly and the food was exposed. When she handed it to me there were 5 to 7 people standing up front all within the drive-thru area inside the store or just adjacent to it all talking and cutting up. Evidently it did not seem the manager was there. When she handed us the food she was in a conversation with other coworkers and all but threw the food at me and I had to stop her before she closed the sliding drive-thru door and forced her to make eye contact with me and I said to her Thank you. Not sure what kinda of training Wendy's is dishing out to these kids and if they are even keeping up with and enforcing it. Or are we all still just gonna blame Covid for the utter disregard and disrespect dished out to the customers my the workers you have employed? Very disappointed and I cannot help but feel that the origional owner is not flipping in his grave with the way this once great establishment has been ran...
Read moreI don't usually like to write bad reviews, especially for fast food spots, because I don't exactly expect 5-star restaurant type service. I also do not want to dog pile on employees who likely aren't being paid enough to deal with how impatient and rude the general public is. Because sir, this is a Wendy's.
However, the staff at this Wendy's are astonishingly bad and unprofessional. They are doing drive through only while the lobby is under construction (which seems to be taking forever), and when I went there last week, they initially told me they weren't taking orders; I was confused, then they told me to pull up to the window, where I could then place an order. That was the beginning of a very...weird experience.
At the window, it was a group of teenage workers just standing around, chatting, eating food for customers to see, and yelling at each other to complete tasks because they didn't want to do it themselves. I had a relatively simple order, a bowl of chili, and they took nearly ten minutes to bring it to me, because they were too busy goofing off and chatting at the drive through window. All it took was for someone to scoop the chili into a bowl and bring it to me, and that seemed like a hard task for them.
Management seems to not have a serious presence to hold the employees to any degree of accountability or professional standards. Ownership does not seem to have a grasp as to what is going on in their restaurant, or they probably don't care. I would say this is hands down the worst Wendy's in the city. I actually have to salute the level of incompetence they managed to...
