I’ve visited the Chipotle in Chaska several times, and my experience has been a mix of positives and areas where there’s definitely room for improvement. The location is convenient, and the staff is usually friendly, but the consistency of the food and service can vary quite a bit depending on the day and time.
On the plus side, I appreciate the variety of menu options and the freshness of the ingredients when everything is prepped well. The guacamole, fajita veggies, and sofritas are my go-to picks, and the flavors are usually solid. The portion sizes are decent most of the time, though I’ve noticed they can be smaller during busy rushes, which feels disappointing for the price point.
The cleanliness of the dining area is hit or miss. On some visits, the tables and floor have been clean, but other times, I’ve noticed sticky tables, overflowing trash bins, and a lack of napkins stocked at the station. It’s something that could definitely be improved with more frequent upkeep.
One thing I do like is how easy the mobile ordering system is to use—though, like many locations, sometimes the online orders aren’t ready exactly at the promised time, so it’s worth building in a few extra minutes just in case.
All in all, this Chipotle is a convenient option if you’re in the Chaska area and craving a burrito bowl or tacos, but I’d like to see more consistency in food prep, portion sizes, and overall cleanliness. Hopefully, with some attention to these areas, it can become a more reliable and enjoyable spot for a...
Read moreI have had many negative experiences with this location. Small portions, terrible employees, online orders are always incorrect etc. I normally handle my complaints with them directly, as I love chipotle, but this time I decided to leave it on google. My wife was kind enough to bring me home my regular. 3 ingredients: Chicken, white rice, and cheese. Easy right!? You wont believe how many times this store has gotten this easy to make burrito wrong. This time they got the ingredients right but the portions and the wrapping are a joke. Nearly no chicken and nearly no cheese but a huge amount of white rice. I mean so much rice that the young man had to take the burrito to the start of the assembly line, out of my wifes view, in order to wrap up this disaster without her seeing what he is doing cause he knew this burrito was a wreck. She gets home and I am excited to eat some chipotle. I open up the double tin foil wrapped burrito (?) and half of the ingredients (mostly rice) falls out on the carpet as I did not expect them to get the most iconic part of a chipotle wrong...the wrap! I am going to continue to eat chipotle and pay their ever increasing prices as I love the food, but, I am going to continue to publicly comment on my negative experiences because this store needs serious work!
Chipotle: feel free...
Read moreChipotle in Chaska has really turned around for the better. See below for my past review from 2021 as a 1 star to now a 4 star. The food is much more fresh and on brand to what I am use to. The service is much quicker and the employees are noticeably more respectful not only to customers but to one another. There is a manager/employee that they brought in who use to work at the downtown Hopkins location which I think has been the driving factor of bringing this location back on track. This chipotle location is not a 5 star in my opinion as the downtown Minneapolis locations in the skyways are so much better still and I will update this review if I feel it gets any better.
(OLD Review 2021)Staff are very unfriendly and unprofessional. They just want to leave for the day and don’t really care about customer service or the quality of the food. I like Chipotle much more than Qdoba, but the Qdoba just down the street has a much better atmosphere, friendly staff, and the food is actually fresh. Chipotle needs to work on hiring better staff. They seemed very understaffed as I only saw about 4 people working. There was a new employee wrapping burritos and the cashier was just making faces at him instead of helping/explaining techniques on how to wrap and feel comfortable...
