Our 1st time here. From the jump we were very impressed. The building itself, is very relaxing & nice. Low lighting but not so low that it's "dark" like many places with low lighting. The music was of very good choice. Classic rock. Can't go wrong there. Seating was awesome. Huge booths and nice size area. The bar area was nice and spacious as well. I didn't get a picture of my drink, but trust me. They know, how to make a margarita!! Excellent! The pizza was absolutely amazing. We ordered the garlic knots as starters. They are the best I have ever had as well as my husband. He's from PA & has had an extremely hard time finding quality knots & pizza. We know, we don't have to look any further. Especially with the pizzas. I ordered the BBQ Chicken and he ordered the Super Hero. Both were the Neapolitian style. Please....know they were both way better than I can ever describe. Mine had fresh cilantro sprinkled on it. At 1st I didn't think I'd like it but it really put it over the top. Chance, our waiter. Was simply the best!!! He was very attentive but wasn't overbearing as some waiters or waitresses are or can be. He took very good care of us. When he offered dips, I ask what he suggested for mine. He stated he loved Ranch. So I took another chance and low & behold. Again, amazing. It wasn't overly crowded, very laid back place. Loved the way we could look out and see the street and hustle bustle. I'm originally from Chattanooga but left for many years. It's good, to be back home & be able to still feel at home.

We will definitely be back. We have found our home, for pizza!!! Thank you for being the pie for this community πŸ•πŸ•πŸ• you guys ROCK!!! We will see you again, very soon!

Edit for 2nd visit 😊 we ordered the same as last time except added the adult cheese sticks to our order. They are AMAZING. I don't think this place will have anything, that isn't amazing. Nick was our waiter this time. He was so nice, so helpful in helping us decide on the cheese sticks. He was prompt. Courteous. Kind. He made our lunch even more enjoyable as part of our visit. You never know who you'll see when you're there lol Mayor Kelly came in for a salad and slice of pizza. Shocked my husband as he works for the city lol πŸ˜† we didn't bother Mr Kelly but it was cool seeing him there among the locals 😎

Grabbed a few more pics too so I could show the cheese sticks and yes....my drink...

Food was really good, management was not great. The brought out the wrong food and after it was sitting at our table for a while they took it back and served it elsewhere. There was a table of 10, with over half kids. The audacity to serve a pizza to other customers is pretty high, do you really want someone to get food that’s been breathed on and potentially touched but guests. I’m fairly sure that is a health code violation.

Then when I went to pay the bill they added the extra food (that was brought to us my mistake and taken away) on the bill. I asked them to correct it and they brought it back uncorrected and insisted I pay that one, even though it clearly had extra food we didn’t eat. This was not our servers fault either, we saw the manager instruct the server on the computer when he was printing the bill. It took 3 checks to get our bill right.

There was an apology from their server but that manager seemed inconvenienced. Mistakes happen all the time at restaurants, I get it I used to work in the industry. Good managers own up to their mistakes. For example the week before I went out to eat and my party was waiting for 20 mins before a server even acknowledged us, so the manager came out apologized and offered us a free app and dessert. Good management owns up to mistakes, and does not serve food brought out on mistake to other patrons, nor appear inconvenienced and fail to apologize when they continue to make even more mistakes. Really can’t believe at best after already screwing up 2x they didn’t check the bill, and at worst wanted us to pay for food we didn’t order or eat.

Your food is great, train management to live up to that. Try to make repeat customers, not a headache for patrons.

Also atmosphere was great, kids loved that you could see the...

This Community Pie Restaurant on Market Street is in the πŸ’œ of tourism. They are a fun restaurant, with plenty of open space. The customer service is excellent. You guys can enjoy a lot of delicious foods πŸ˜‹ in a casual, but uptown atmosphere. I have eaten there several times, on behalf of friends, and co-workers. I always order the Largest , and Biggest Pizza Supreme delicious πŸ˜‹. You guys can order from the restaurant, without entering. They have a very nice simple menu. You guys can eat plenty , but please don't overload. You guys are surrounded by other nice restaurants and upscale Hotels πŸ›οΈ. Here you guys are just getting started. You will need this energy for other things 😜. Got it ! It's a lot too see, do, and venture out . You will discover why Our Senic City is the Most Popular visitation of tourism in the Nation. You guys are less than than a mile from the Aquarium, movies, πŸŽ₯, other sportbars. The World's Longest Walking Bridge is in the area as well. This is The Walnut Street Bridge. Here you guys will witness one of the most beautiful views sunrise or sunset πŸŒ‡. At Community Pie you guys will have such a nice outdoor surrounding , with a fountain . This is soo relaxing whether it's hot or cold. The seating is in Miller Park Plaza, or the Park 🏞️ itself. They hosts a lot of special events in the city. This is from athletes πŸ’ͺ, music 🎡🎢, and food vendors promoting their specialty. You guys are on vacation, hot date 🌹, or weekend getaway. Community Pie has you covered. Items consumed during this visit- Neo style Margherita 0/10 - there was tomato sauce, no sliced tomato, no oil, a small amount of basil, minimal, actually- inadequate - amount of mozzarella which was so overcooked it was crispy. I actually removed the toppings from all slices and put everything on 1 slice (see the mimosa pic) -100/10 Drunken pig NY style - unknown what the sauce was, did not taste like vodka sauce. Also really poorly cheesed, and the cheese notably had almost no flavor so unless the bite had sausage in it, it was not good. In fact, the red pepper flakes and sausage were the only source of flavor and both were verrrry limited. 3/10 Pepperoni pizza - same comments as above but had plenty of ronis so 6/10 Mushroom neo style - well liked 9/10 Mimosa - just sad, half full glass ... and problematic was that we were told the restaurant didn't have juice... but had oj and cranberry for drinks 4/10 Bloody mary was well liked 10/10 Garlic bread? Or whatever it was supposed to be- had a weird wheat flavor, no other notable flavor unless you got a bite with 1 of the 10 shaved parm pieces. Sauce was... interesting. Not good. Not bad. 2/10 Chicken wings 10/10. Flavor absolutely slapped, plenty of chicken, tender. Best part of the meal Ceasar salad - a little tangy, croutons could def shatter a filling but 6/10 Our server was largely absent. This small order took 2 hours from start to finish and we ordered a round of drinks from the bar after waiting in between visits from our server. The atmosphere is beautiful 😍 Oh & the hardest part to stomach was the 170$ bill....
