I always have a great night at CBC! But the real charm is Tommy, the wonderful bartender upstairs. Tommy is truly one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, I think the world needs more Tommy’s in it!! He gets drinks out so fast & he always has a smile on his face. Last night was St. Pattys day, they were slammed at the bar and he was alone for most of the night. But Tommy was still giving top tier service. No one was even slightly frustrated at the bar, because Tommy just takes care of everyone and never forgets an order or a drink. He can hold 20 orders is his head at once and get everything out correctly, while taking another order, it’s impressive. This man deserves 10 stars, a raise, and so much more! He keeps things together! CBC, you’ve got a good one. All the other staff was (and always is) friendly, fast, and funny. This is my go-to hangout spot and I always send folks that way when they’re here for a visit. Also - I have never felt unsafe there. Everyone just does a great job and we all have an...
Read moreCame to CBC downtown after being disappointed at another bar a couple doors down. Got there at 12:45 AM, ordered our drinks and an appetizer. Got our drinks promptly, but then noticed that our server was only conversing with one person seated at the bar. Was finally able to get his attention again at about 1:30 to ask why we hadn’t gotten our food yet. His explanation was “the kitchen is backed up because everyone is getting their final food orders in”. I then watched him walk over to the computer and put in our food order. That he had forgotten. Because he was flirting with the woman who sat down at the bar right after we arrived. Our food came out in a to go container about 5-6 minutes later. So on top of being ignored by the service staff I was lied to. Did nothing but make a bad...
Read moreAs much as I love Tommy and the chicken fingers, I’m tired of this place. I’ve been coming here for 4 years (since I turned 21), and have now suddenly been turned away at the door multiple times. I’ll be wearing a sundress or a crop top, like many other people are (who are inside), and I’m not allowed in. I will literally see people with mesh pants inside, yet my cleavage is an issue? Ridiculous. I watch people get admitted inside wearing the same outfit I am, yet because I’m a 34D and the other girl is a 32A, I’m not allowed in and she is. I’m truly not meaning to sound whiny, but this has happened so many times and I can never even get a clear answer from the security about why I’m not allowed in. Maybe they should be more focused on the people doing coke in...
