I took a watch to Fischer Evans on the afternoon of 12/28/20 to ask them to please remove some links. Upon a very brief inspection, the Fischer Evans representative informed that my watch was a fake. I began to explain how I highly doubted that IBM would have given my grandfather a fake Rolex in 1981 for his 25th year anniversary with the company. I was also able to produce the original packaging, serial number, and paperwork for the watch. This watch has since been serviced, authenticated, and adjusted at Finks.

Please also know that the reason I have this watch is because my grandmother recently passed. This was a way for our family to keep special pieces and history maintained. I was shocked to have been met with such accusations, with little tact, and distrust by what I thoughts was a highly respected Chattanooga business.

Overall, my concerns are the way in which the representative communicated with me (a customer), the lack of empathy, and the inability to identify and service a very well known brand. Upon further research, I see that Fischer Evans is not an official Rolex retailer, and I would caution anyone against allowing them to service...
