Horrible service, won’t be back. 10/7/2024 I ordered lunch from here. I placed my to go order on the phone at 12:22 and was told give us 20 minutes. My order was simple. A Cobb salad with grilled chicken, an order of fried cheese and a sweet tea. I showed up at 12:45. To set the scene there are 2 dirty tables, a table with 2 men that had already eaten but were drinking- I did not go upstairs so I can’t say who may or may not have been up there. We sit at the bar. The bartender in her pajamas, gave me my ticket and I gave her cash including a tip. She never said anything other than well it’s not ready yet. We waited a good 15 minutes while the bartender was brushing her hair behind the bar & scrolling on her phone. She then disappeared. My workmate & I then noticed the cook come out and was standing around talking to another person, I guess the server. I asked that server to please get the purple haired bartender. Server asked why. I said I’d love to get my money back I’ve waited almost an hour. The cook goes into the kitchen magically my food is ready and he tosses it onto the bar. The cook was arguing with me that I don’t need my money back because the food is ready. He also said he had to redo the chicken because he burnt it. I don’t buy that & I was never informed this or communicated with at all. The purple haired bartender came back and was like the food is up. She had not given me my drink, said thank you for the tip, apologized about my wait or even checked on the 2 gentlemen who had brought their own empty beer cans to the bar in hopes of getting another round. None of the staff apologized, instead every one of them argued with a customer!! The bartender slapped my money on the bar & walked off. The big window in the front of the building was open so my workmate & I heard every bad word the staff had to say about us as we walked back to work with no lunch. I had a bad experience there myself...1st visit ever...Bartender accused some people I was there with of smoking weed at the bar !!!...uh, I DO NOT think so !!!...I may be dumb...but I ain't stupid !!!...but before he made his boundless allegations...he said "get the F@#K out "...I admit I had been drinking beer at the Lookouts game and was not 100% sober. But I tried to get up and leave like he asked and threw him about 8 bucks or so on my way out. Not good enough !!...he had to keep mouthing at me on my way out the door...so I went out...but my temper got to me and I went back in and put him in his punk ass place...I made a scene and felt bad about it...So...I called the next morning and spoke with Matt the owner ( VERY CLASSY GUY !!! )...and apologized for MY side of the ordeal...Matt's graciousness earned the place 3 stars...it is a cool place and I may go back as Matt asked me to...if the bartender does not like it...he can take it up with his boss...or with ME...I would prefer the latter myself...but that is how I roll...if he chooses that option...I hope ALL of his affairs are in order...DO NOT let my bad experience keep you from going. There are A-holes everywhere. If you choose to put up with those people that is YOUR choice. As for me...I refuse to take people's BS anymore...I am a Man...I am not a sheep that follows the...

This place really does have a lot going on for it food-wise. The poutine is delicious and a hearty portion, and their egg rolls are amazing. I almost hate how generous the sizes are because I want to be able to eat more things when we visit! My only food gripe is the fries seem to change periodically, this round they were crinkle which I really don't like and it wasn't specified on the menu. But the sauce made up for it. Drinks are hit or miss. Last time I had the most delicious AMF, and their menu says their bartenders are able to create anything, but this time they told me they couldn't make it. I think it may have been a translation error as the server didn't know what I was saying. At ordering I said if an amf wasn't possible then I'd do a long island and the server brought a drink and called it an amaretto... it was light in color and only tasted like sweet and sour mix, which apparently is an amaretto (had to look it up). Wasn't strong like a long island but when I finally got the guts to inquire he insisted it was that. Also charged for that. We don't have good bars near us so I was really looking forward to having a quality cocktail. The place needs a good cleaning top to bottom. The fans were running full speed and they were still...
