Sing It or Wing It — Restaurant in Chattanooga

Absolutely do NOT like the security guard. He’s very rude & irate. I’m a very understanding person, but when he interacted with me & my sister (we’re black) he was rude. Do not recommend this place at all!! This is unfortunate bc the boss & staff are nice, but the security guard needs to be replaced he’s rude to ppl who look like me.

✨(IN RESPONSE TO SING IT OR WING IT REPLY)✨ I am 32 years old, & my younger sister is 20. Upon arrival at your establishment, we were unaware of the age restriction. We were already seated at the bar, & I had already ordered a drink when your security personnel approached us to check IDs. He informed us that my sister could not remain inside, but said I could finish my drink at the bar. We complied without argument. I apologized for the misunderstanding & expressed my intention to take my drink outside to accompany my sister, as I did not want to leave her alone. Once outside on the patio, the security guard followed us & began to raise his voice rudely, insisting that my sister had to leave. We were simply sitting quietly. My sister was waiting for me to finish my drink, for which I had already paid approximately $9. I was perplexed by the guard's hostile demeanor & his threat to involve the police, especially since we had already complied with his initial request. If the patio was off-limits, clearer instructions should have been provided, as he had only mentioned going outside. Due to his behavior, I felt compelled to contact the police myself, as I believed the security guard was misrepresenting the situation. Unfortunately, this is not my first encounter with that security guard exhibiting discriminatory behavior. There are numerous individuals of my background who have faced similar mistreatment at your establishment. For instance, my aunt was asked to leave on Mother's Day despite causing no disturbance whatsoever. I have decided not to patronize your establishment in the future. My daughter is getting married tomorrow. We scheduled a visit in August to taste the menu items and inquire and get details on bringing friends and family from out of town to greet them, eat food and have fun singing karaoke. Not once did anyone mention that our family members under 21 would not be permitted in after 8pm! We mentioned that the rehearsal was at 5pm and we wouldn’t arrive until 7:30 and we were told that they could accommodate 40 people and would block the area in front near karaoke for our guests. Our wedding venue highly recommended this place so we were very excited! Family members arrived with their children, as the mother of the bride, my other daughter is 19 and her boyfriend is 20 and they were not permitted to be there with the rest of the bridal party!! It was terrible! Had we known our younger family and guests wouldn’t have been permitted in the establishment, we would have planned to go elsewhere! No one said anything! They let us purchase and sample food platters to decide what items we would select for our party and we locked down the date and as our guests arrived, we were told that the younger guests were not permitted after 8pm!!! This is not great customer service! We were embarrassed and very upset! It was my daughter’s wedding weekend and we planned in advance!! Does this type of service represent your business and management? I will share this review on social media. What we hoped would be a fun and wonderful start to the wedding weekend resulted in our group having to leave. Thank goodness for Taco Mac accommodating us across the street! Thank you Taco Mac for the amazing food, great and accommodating management and customer service! This is located in the 💜 of tourism. Here is a lot to see , and do. Our Scenic City 🏙️🌆 is one of the most tourists Attractions in our country. Okay ! Let me back it up a bit 😊. Pretend you can sing , and dance 🎵🩰. Guess what ? There is no judgement zone here. It's all about fun 😊 ! You guys got it ? You must show up 😜 in order to get it . Hungry 🥨😋 the delicious wings will certainly fulfill your hunger. I recommend you guys order the 20 Honey BBQ Wings to jump start your hunger. The Berry Sriracha Wings, and Fries will work as well. Want something different ? I recommend you guys order the Long Fish Bowl, along with some Go Go Bites 🤯. Now you should be good to go for now. They serve other delicious 😋 food.
