We ate here on Father's Day 2019 during our vacation to Chattanooga. I was also our 29th wedding anniversary so we wanted to go somewhere that wasn't fast food to celebrate. I chose the 7 oz Flat Iron with Boom Boom Shrimp. Hubby chose to go with the Prime Rib Father's Day special. My dish came with broccoli and a choice of side. I wanted onion rings but had a brain fart and ordered sweet potato fries (which I really don't care for) instead. By the time I realized my mistake, it was too late to change it. I don't know what I was thinking, maybe it's because it had been a long day of sightseeing and I was tired, who knows. The fries came with a brown sugar/cinnamon mixture which was terrific. I chose to upgrade the broccoli to a side salad with blue cheese. The salad was wonderful and one of the best I've had. It had a mixed lettuce base (primarily iceberg with smaller amounts of other types scattered within), diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, onions (hubby gave me his), croutons, and something you don't usually see very often, diced cucumbers. The amounts of each were generous and it all tasted fresh and crisp and was cut into bite sized pieces, I didn't have to cut anything. In the picture, the plate with the onions is actually the salad that came with the prime rib. The smaller salad at the top is the one that is the upgrade. Hubby and I switched since he's not a big salad guy. The blue cheese dressing was tangy but not sour like some with a fair amount of blue cheese chunks in it and they give you a decent amount on the side. I was very satisfied and consider it one the better side salads I've gotten at this type of place. My Flat Iron steak was absolutely wonderful! It was a perfect juicy medium throughout except for maybe about a 1/4 inch all the around but was to the point of just well done so it wasn't dry at all. It had a terrific chargrilled taste that wasn't overpowering and complimented the rich meatiness of the cut. It came out hot and not like it had been sitting there to cool off. I wasn't as impressed with the boom boom shrimp though, the sauce didn't do it for me. It tasted like mild buffalo sauce but had a off putting sweetness to my palate that I didn't care for. They didn't boom boom for me. The sweet potato fries, meh but it was my mistake, would have rather had onion rings. But the brown sugar/cinnamon butter strangely tasted really good on my bites of steak. Hubby's prime rib was perfectly cooked to medium and came out hot as well. It was buttery and soft and tender and had a milder flavor as compared to my Flat Iron steak but was equally as good flavor wise. The problem at some restaurants the served Prime Rib make their Au Jus too salty, but not here at Miller's Ale House. It wasn't too salty at all just had a good balance of beefy goodness. His baked potato was done all the way through and was easy to mix in the sour cream and butter which again was a good amount. The waitress we had was one of the best. She was prompt and courteous and checked on us several times during our meal as well as several tables around us. She never stopped moving the whole time we were there. The only complaint I could give about this place is that the music was a little loud. All in all I'm glad we chose this place. We felt it was worth the extra money we paid compared to what we normally spend and feel that we got good value out of it.

Millers Ale house is not an experience. It’s a phenomenon. Such an earth shatteringly good experience is something that should really be studied and thoughtfully dissected. In my old age, I must say I’m quite excited to see what kind of effect this establishment will have on the course of not only human history, but the way culture evolves over time. Billions of years into the future, the sun is sure to expand as it fizzles out, swallowing the earth whole. Long after our mortal souls have left this realm, civilizations from the cosmos will study our history, literature, and life. If they are to write a book on the whole of human history, the cover image for the 21st century will no doubt be the Miller’s Ale House. I could keep rambling in and on, but honestly, no words from myself, or any other human that is alive, or have lived could do this place justice. It’s something that you need to come see, nay EXPERIENCE yourself. To fully appreciate Miller’s Ale House, you need to be prepared to use all five of your senses. I’ve been told by the locals that eating here can actually unlock a sixth, but I’ve yet to experience this myself. My waitress, Hanna, will undoubtedly receive the moniker of ‘the great’ post mortem. Few words could do such a culinary genius justice. I couldn’t even say there were lightning fast wait times, because THERE WEREN’T EVEN WAIT TIMES. By time I realized my delicious sweet tea was already depleted, she had brought me another one. It’s easy to watch the Oscar’s, or Grammys, and see these dazzling celebrities win plethoras of awards, but the true unsung heroes of life are those like Hanna. I thank her for my experience here today. If you’re considering eating anywhere besides miller’s ale house, reconsider. ***PICTURED: myself, immediately after enjoying my Miller’s Ale House meal

Okay just going to start this off with 5 stars is not enough. This place deserves much much more than that. From the moment my girlfriend and I walked in the door it was an amazing experience. We got there about an hour and a half from them closing. And normally when you get to a restaurant that late the staff is just wanting to leave and rush you out. Everyone on the staff from the host to the manager were super welcoming and kept a smile on our faces the entire time. We ordered the Prime Burger and the Cajun Pasta. The Cajun pasta was perfectly sauced not overly spicy and the chicken was tender and juicy with a great char on the outside. The Prime Burger, this thing comes with mushrooms, fried onions, and Prime rib burger that they make in house every day and cook to perfection, swim cheese, and a garlic crema just dripping off the edges. One bite of this burger and you are sent to another dimension on flavor. Probably the best burger I've ever had. On top of that it was only about $13 for it. And the Cajun Pasta was about $14. I'd be willing to pay alot more for both of these. Bottom line amazing staff, super clean dining room, amazing food, and amazing atmosphere. Definitely a must go for amazing pub style food with that upscale feel.

Traveling for work allows me to try new restaurants and their available dishes. Millers is loaded with TVs everywhere so you're never far from your preferred sport being played.

Being here on a work trip for almost 3 weeks has allowed me to visit this place 4 times already, each time having their loaded Philly Cheesesteak with fries. Served open-faced but ready for folding into a sandwich, it arrives piping hot with gooey melted cheese and just the right amount of juiciness. Cheesesteaks seem like a simple enough dish, but too many places just get it wrong. Millers was really good every time.

The first night I tried a few other items like their loaded fries along with the sandwich, but the fries didn't inspire a second order. I also tried the People's Margarita, made the The Rock's Teremana tequila. To be honest, it wasn't that good and I'll take Don Julio Reposado any day. I've have yet to find any celebrity liquors truly satisfactory, seeming to rely more on the celebrity backing it than an exceptional taste.

I have tried two separate desserts, the first being the Ghirardelli Chocolate Brownie Sundae and later the Captain Jacks Buried Treasure. The brownie was pretty good, but was too big to even try to finish after a cheesesteak. I would definitely advise sharing, taking it home, or being ready to abandon whatever you don't finish. At almost 1400 calories, I don't recommend you eating this often without assistance. The Buried Treasure is a 1400 calorie slice of ice cream cake, which I didn't realize until having it to go, getting back to my hotel and then opening it later to discover a good bit had melted away.

I also have to commend the staff. They were all super friendly and accommodating; from the host to the bartenders, management and servers. When a manager found out I had been there twice, she remembered be from that point on and always had this positive air. The most recent server, Kelsey, was likewise friendly, checking on me often, making sure the food truly was acceptable to me as well as making sure my cup never emptied. But she also stayed to briefly chat a few times and how she enjoyed checking up on her customers.

Each time, the service was fantastic. Only once on a busy night did I have to wait about 20 minutes as a single diner, mostly because I had a preferred seating location.

For a cheesesteak and sweet tea, it ran about $20.

I highly recommend becoming a...

We just ate at Millers on 10/30 and got there at 10 pm. The whole process from start to finish took 2 and a half hours which is absolutely insane because the restaurant had some people in there but wasn’t super busy by any means. We were a party of 6. I’m going to get your name wrong but Chamile (skinnier girl with curly brown hair and light complexion) was our server and in the kindest way possible you are in the wrong profession. We saw you at the most 3 times from start to finish. Thank god one of your other servers helped out that we had to flag down like three separate times to get literally anything. I’m a server and have been for 10 years now and my biggest complaint about you is just the complete lack of attention you gave us? You blatantly ignored us. You never once came up and checked on us or acknowledged that things were taking forever. It was one of those “if I dont acknowledge them it doesn’t exist” situations. You even came up to me an hour into us waiting for our food to tell me you didnt have any more loaded baked potato’s left. You offered me a discount on my meal which I didn’t ask for and never would but the cherry on top was the fact that you offered that and then forgot to even take the bake potato off my check at the end. Like why offer a discount (which once again I didn’t ask for) and then not even take it off at the end. After telling you we were ready for our checks you said “be right back” and all of us knew we wouldn’t see you again for at least another 30 minutes. After 30 mins of waiting we flagged your other server down and she finally ran our checks. You lacked all of the qualities of a server who can give guests experience. The lack of timeliness, quality, detail, attentiveness and just straight up lack of accountability was astounding. I’ve been going to this miillers since 2019 and don’t think I’ve received service this bad ANYWHERE in a really...
