Layla's Bar + Kitchen — Restaurant in Chelan

One of the worst and uncomfortable service I have ever experienced. I loved the atmosphere however the service we got left a lot to be desired. We were signaled to seat at a table that had not been cleaned(it still had water from previous patrons) had to ask for the table to be wiped. When we were thinking of leaving because no one had come to ask us if we wanted anything to drink or even offer water someone came to our table with water but seemed impatient with us and was just ready to go away before we complete our drink order. When our drinks came, we were told someone was coming to take our food order and no one came until the same lady came back and asked if someone had come to take our order. She took our order. Food was good, the tacos were pretty good but the chicken bowl had way too much rice. The server that was supposed to serve us never came to our table but took care of tables around us. At the end of our meal I asked why the server that was assigned to our table never came and she said she did not know. We got our check without asking for it ( I actually wanted another drink) and I told her that but at this point I was put off and decided to just...

In response to owners comments: Your server must really hate working there because she was turning people away saying the kitchen closed at 7:00 on a weekend. You're right to be fair you do offer more than just a pretzel for vegetarians, but not if you want something more substantial.

If you come here, get the espresso martinis! They are incredible.

Pros: This is a good place for drinks

Cons: -Kitchen closes super early (we were turned away at 7PM due to kitchen closing on a Saturday during Chelan fest?!) -Food is not fresh but prepped the day before -No customizations -One option for vegetarians, pretzels. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. This was the fourth time we’ve tried to go to Layla’s Bar + Kitchen and tonight was my last straw. We showed up at 10 PM, and their website clearly says they close at 11 PM. Yet once again, they were already closed. This has happened before too—once at 9:30, once at 10, and again at 10:30.

Please update your hours on Google to say “hours may vary” if you’re not going to follow your posted schedule. People drive into town expecting you to be open it’s frustrating and a total waste of time.
