Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Cheltenham Township

Im usually really hype to order from this location. I walk in after Im off work and someone usually recognizes me and is really friendly! #regularpatron

I walked in today though and there was all new staff, which is fine, not everyone is scheduled everyday - cool 🥺 But I tell the guy who greeted me I want a bowl and he grabs a tortilla. Alright it’s a little loud in here, I’ll repeat myself. He throws the tortilla down and grabs a bowl instead. Such ✨ATTITUDE ✨ I tell him carnitas and he puts carne asada in it instead, so I repeat myself again. Boy takes the spoon and digs out all the carne asada instead of starting over 😮‍💨 The lady next to him sees that and takes over - thank you!! We’re all good until the last few items are going into my bowl and she answers her phone while I’m still telling her everything that goes into it. 😔 She puts sour cream in when I didn’t ask for it and misses the lettuce. When I repeat myself AGAIN, she roller her eyes, put the lettuce on then the lid and like side-eyes me as she slides the bowl down to the cashier.

These are all small things, but given the level of great service I usually get every other time, this was a HUGE step in the wrong direction. I hope y’all didn’t fire the other staff because they’re always great. But not this bunch. I work in food service too, it’s not that hard to turn your listening ears on after you’ve asked a...

Update: I previously had given them two stars however my coworker just brought back lunch and this establishment ran out of lettuce. How can you be an establishment that serves salad with no lettuce? One of the workers there stated that the manager needed to get on his grind because he did not order enough inventory. They are completely unprofessional and I would not recommend this restaurant. Original review: They most of the time keep the place clean however no one keeps up with the napkin area cleanliness. All of the employees are very young and show no formal training and customer service. My company orders online for lunch and we've done that three times. Each time they give you a time and which your food should be completed however twice it was not prepared until I arrive for pickup. They need to work on management ASAP if they're going to be around much longer. My final issue was with one of the employees who called me baby while he was giving me my food I found that to be offencive because he could have been my child as far as his age group no customers should ever be...

In regards to this location specifically, I have had multiple episodes of complaints with this location. On multiple occasions, I have been left with undesirable services and quite frankly have dealt with incredibly rude workers. I have been yelled at and threatened by these workers and whether it is an issue about my ethnicity I'm not sure, but they have used racial slurs against me before. But today on October 15th, 2021. I went to pick up an online order and was left waiting for 15 minutes, while every other customer present and after got their orders. I asked about my order twice and was ignored multiple times by the staff and one even mocked my name and it's oriental origin. But I was left waiting and ignored for 15 minutes until one of them finally pulled a bundle of prepared bags with my order being one of them.
