Update; I picked up a Taro Bubble Tea the other day. The tapioca Boba was soft and fresh. So I went back. This time the Boba was tough, dry, and hard. I want my money back. I got a reply from Elena saying; "Thank you for letting us know about your experience. May we know more details and please provide the receipt and drinks picture to us. If you don’t have the receipt, please provide the date, time, location, amount and the last 4 digits if you paid by card." I replied with the needed information. 7 days later no refund so I reached out again. Kathy replied; "... Thank you for taking the time to let me know about your concern at our Plymouth Meeting Mall location. Please be assured that customer is top-of-mind at Real Fruit Bubble Tea. We strive to provide a happy environment each time you visit. Be assured that I have discussed your concern and reviewed our procedures with the store manager. The tapioca was freshly cooked and served by a senior bartender with 22 years experience at Real Fruit Bubble Tea in Canada. There was no another complaint on tapioca. We wonder if it was your first time to taste the tapioca? As we know, it always takes time to accept it and like it. We would like to remake your drink if you like to go back to Plymouth meeting Mall location to taste again? Hopefully we will exceed your expectations on your next visit." I replied that I was not a Bubble Tea novice and she should honor the offer her co-worker Eleana made to give me a refund. She replied again, "Thanks for your reply. As the customer service department, we only can provide another drink to fix our mistake and problem so that we could improve from the case. Our whole company cooks tapioca with the same way and this senior bartender even has very high acknowledgment on bubble tea field. We really want you to come back to taste the tapioca and give us more details. Talking about refund, you need go to the store to request the refund." I will never go back...
Read moreI have been a regular customer at Real Fruit Bubble Tea for a long time, but after today’s experience I am extremely disappointed. I paid nearly $10 for a drink, only to receive a cup that was literally half full. When I pointed this out, instead of apologizing or correcting the mistake, the manager spoke to me in an incredibly rude and dismissive way.
This is completely unacceptable. Customers should not be treated with such disrespect, especially loyal ones who support this place regularly. Mistakes happen, but what matters is how they are handled — and in this case, the lack of professionalism and courtesy from the manager was shocking.
Spending almost $10 on a half-filled drink feels like being taken advantage of, and the rude attitude only made it worse. I left the store feeling frustrated, disrespected, and regretful that I even spent my money here.
If Real Fruit Bubble Tea values its customers, management should take a serious look at how their staff are treating people and how they are serving their products. I can honestly say this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had, and it has made me reconsider whether I will...
Read moreI never do reviews, and this will have to be the first unfortunately because the staff was just rude!! first off it was my first time ever having boba tea and i was really excited!! I placed my order on the mobile screen and got my ticket as I watched the staff IGNORE customers and rudely continue their tasks with no concern for customers questions/needs! The particular day I went it seemed like a busier day, and after waiting about 25 minutes for one drink I finally asked nicely about the number i was given on my ticket. I asked a tall, skinny asian representing man and he very quickly and rudely said “down there!” pointing to the end of the counter, making no eye contact, and shaking his head as if i were “bothering” him. Mind you… I did not leave the establishment so i would’ve heard my number get called out & it did not. Boba was good! but for my first time experience customer service was far from friendly! Get...
