I was warned, and I didn't listen. I normally go to Wendy's in Delran, NJ and have little to no issue. Tonight, Delran's was having issues with their card reader and only accepted cash. This is fine, it happens, not a big deal. So in my hunger induced need for spicy nuggets, I ventured to the next open location. Cherry Hill was the next on the available list as open, but the reviews online didn't seem great. I arrived with one person ahead of me in the drive-thru. Large order, and their car made a bit of noise. When it came for me to get my order taken, it already didn't seem like this was going to go well. I started the order with 2 10 piece spicy nuggets, to which I was told were not available. This is fine, it happens, no big deal. But, in replacement, I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich plain. Seemingly misunderstood, the order taker (potentially Kayla as listed on the reciept,) tried to confirm the order by asking if I meant the crispy chicken sandwich. I can forgive the miscommunication, as I used to work in fast food and loud cars in the background and poor equiptment quality can make taking orders difficult. So I corrected the order taker with 'spicy plain.' I added a JBC plain, and large fries to the order. Now, I can forgive the order taker for making mistakes, or not getting an order right from time to time. That is if there is only one person on the headset listening to the order. In my experience, there should be at least three people working late with a headset. The order taker, the shift manager, and a cook. So, out of those three people, none of them seem to get my order right. Granted the manager doesn't see everything detail of what goes out the window, that leaves potentially 2 people who heard the order. Again, I worked in fast food, so making an order to-order is not difficult. I would rather make custom orders, as they would be less involved. A plain sandwich is like a vacation. And on the reciept, the word plain doesn't not exist for either sandwich. That is not bad equiptment to blame if the rest of the order is correct. The kicker and why 2 stars. The food, which to me is inedible with tomato and mayo, was potentially poisonous. Everything was undercooked. Not raw, but undercooked. That alone should warrant a 1 star rating. A 'do not go here' safety star, if you would. In my opinion, 1-star ratings are reserved for location that should be shut down and paved over. This isn't the Wendy's corporation, or an owner issue. This is just bad staff. Also, it was specific staff, not the location as a whole. I don't frequent this location, the day staff may be excellent. In the end, I suggest to proceed with caution, and check the reciept and order...
Read moreIt drives me crazy to have to even post reviews like this one. I was at this Wendy's location I ordered a 6 piece nugget and a crispy chicken BLT. It was inside the store not the drive thru. first, that is an extremely small order i was the only one at the counter for several mins before someone took my order. It wasn't until 3 people were behind me that they took my order. Furthermore, 4 people ordered and received their food before mine. That's unacceptable. My order was so far back they didn't even see it on the screen. second, I was told mine would be up shortly. (I'm assuming it would be hot and freshly cooked, or so I thought) when I eventually got my food the nuggets were half cold as if it had been reheated. Not saying it was but that's how it tasted. Oh, and by the way I asked for BBQ and was given honey mustard instead. Not realizing until afterwards of course. On top of that when I eventually got my food... my crispy chicken BLT had cheese. Now I don't know why a BLT would have cheese unless asked for. I don't know if that's how it comes because I never had one before, but I have had the regular sandwich. All my experiences cheese is extra. In this case the cheese made it taste worse considering it also tasted like it was reheated. This has become tedious by now and I'm going to end with... I don't know if I will ever order from there again because this is not the 1st time something like this has happened. It is getting old and tiresome and not worth...
Read moreIf I could, I would give it a minus star. The guy at the drive-through has an attitude problem. Every time we ask for something he was giving us an attitude. I asked him if the order was right, he said whatever man check the bag we asked him for the frosty he didn’t want to give it to us. He wanted us to go back through the line again Just cause we have dark skin. He was really racist and as the tree was soldiers and it spilled all over, I asked for a napkin to wipe he said look in your bag full of the line you don’t have time for this it’s the guy that wears a visor is a young African-American, he needs to learn respect and courtesy. That’s why they say treat people like you want to be treated just cause you have a bad they don’t treat everybody else like that. Wendy’s should train their employees a lot better. I definitely won’t stop coming here and I will tell all my friends and family, it’s a fast food place he act like he owns the place. I was in a hurry, and I don’t really care for attitude and we was nice and courtesy. I was embarrassed because my friends was in the car the first time to Jersey and that’s why they say I guess that’s white jersey is jersey with...
