I enjoy the food here This is not a food related review, and is really only intended for the owners of this restaurant so that they understand what happened at their restaurant. I'm leaving this review based solely on an incident that I witnessed in the drive thru. It was an example of absolutely dismal customer service, followed by way worse. I watched the entire situation unfold as I was outside eating my food in my car, so I can confidently say that everything I tell you happened exactly as I said it did, I have no skin in this game. I don't know the customer and I don't know the employees.
Turns out this guy ordered one hamburger. I didn't know at first what he'd ordered but I learned later when I was overhearing things. So this guy orders one burger at the drive-thru and they tell him to drive up and park to wait for his burger. This dude sat in the parking lot for over 15 minutes. Car after car after car went through the drive-thru and left with their food and nobody came out to give this guy anything. I just happened to wonder in passing like how much food this guy ordered. I figured it was a lot since he was waiting for so long. Like he was waiting so long that I noticed it. You know what I'm saying? I was just sitting there eating the rest of my fries and watching videos on my phone and kind of starting to feel bad for this guy cuz we've all been there. Finally, somebody comes out to give this guy his food and it is the smallest bag they have, so clearly all that was in. There was one burger. No fries, no drink. Just one burger. So the guy kind of impatiently grabs the bag out of the worker's hand, because he's been there for a long time waiting for one burger. It wasn't anything that I would have considered aggressive or shocking. Just the guy was impatient and he grabbed the bag impatiently. No verbal altercation nothing. Just the impatient grab. The employee goes back in the restaurant and less than 10 seconds later, the manager comes practically running out the door, chasing this guy in his car and proceeds to verbally assault the customer in full view and earshot of literally everybody in practically the entire neighborhood, and the children that this guy had in his car with him. I believe the manager's name was Carlos because I heard the customer ask him what his name was. I'll tell you as a neutral third party; The managers behavior was absolutely shocking and totally out of line. You're going to have situations like this in fast food. I used to work in fast food AS A MANAGER. The managers behavior was insanely out of proportion to the "crime" of grabbing a bag impatiently from an employee's hand. Managers should have more self-control.
Not a good look when your managers have no...
Read moreIt would be nice if we could out 0 stars- this place used to have decent employees and good food- I went through drive through with my 13 yr old son- when asked if they could help we order everything wrapped in lettuce- well apparently this is a problem for the manager - Diana- I had to ask if she was there.. she responded short and nasty with “I heard you” Now they are not at this point going to make my food without me watching I go inside - with my son- we are hungry- and I walk I. To ask for manager to let manager know they have someone ride in window- to my surprise - that is manager- looking more like she just got done doing a tune up on a car then preparing peoples food- What a joke this place has quickly become- THIS is what sets the examples for new employees?
I love to give good reviews and tell people when they are doing a good job- This time it is not the case- I tried to report the incident as well- and no one from Carl’s Jr. seems to care at all how professionals are being treated in Cheyenne Wy. They must not care that there management comes to work dirty and apparently hates their jobs- When I confronted Diana about how she treated us- she asked us - me and my child to leave the store. First time in my life- but absolutely ok with it. If you’re going through the drive through- you need to go inside and see who is...
Read moreI really like Carl's Jr, and most of their locations,i this one have been consistent with quality and flavor. However at this location, I had a bad experience today. When I left work and discovered that my debit card was missing. I called the restaurant and the woman who answered the phone said that there was a debit card left with a receipt. I can understand blaming the customer who had eaten in the restaurant for leaving their own debit card, but you cannot intentionally leave your own debit card in the drive-thru! I drove the three blocks from where I am currently working on a project and went into the drive-thru and ordered my debit card. I had my state driver's license ID in hand ready to prove my identity to receive my debit card. The woman who took my order said there are several debit cards that were left behind. She came to the window with three debit cards in her hand and asked which one was mine. Never asked for my ID, no free food, and didn't hide the fact that they didn't even care that their own employee had forgotten to give a customer their debit card back. I remained polite, and was tempted to call the manager on my way home, But Google reviews reach so many more...
