If you're looking for the best gelato in Chicago, look no further than Amorino on South Michigan Avenue. This delightful little gelateria is a true hidden gem, serving up some of the most delicious and authentic gelato I've ever tasted.
The first thing you'll notice when you walk into Amorino is the incredible variety of flavors on offer. From classic favorites like chocolate and pistachio to more exotic flavors like lychee and passionfruit, there's something for everyone. And best of all, the flavors are made with all-natural ingredients, so you can indulge without any guilt.
But the real star of the show at Amorino is the gelato itself. The texture is creamy and velvety, with just the right balance of sweetness and richness. And the presentation is simply stunning, with each scoop shaped into a delicate rose that looks almost too beautiful to eat.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the wonderful staff at Amorino. They're always friendly and helpful, happy to offer recommendations or help you navigate the wide range of flavors available.
Overall, I cannot recommend Amorino highly enough. It's the perfect spot for a sweet treat on a hot day, a freezing cold day, a cozy date night, or a fun outing with friends. Five...
Read moreThis place was crazy busy on a Friday night around 11ish. It was confusing what to do here. Others thought the same. Others asked us as if we knew, but we didn't either. Turns out you can order at I think 3 different self other kiosks or order at the only register. After that you wait for your name to be called by one of the employees that make your creations you ordered. Can taste test different gelatos(website said 10 vegan flavors but had 8 while we were there). I wish they would of had more than just for flavors that were vegan, but the lemon basil, lemon, and mango flavors were good. I asked for raspberry too, but as I said it was extremely busy and must not have heard me say that flavor, it was not added. Do I think what I ordered was worth $10? Not really. Did Jeremy think his was worth $10? No he didn't. The cone was definitely lacking flavor, but the employee did make a pretty dessert reminiscent of a flower. It was an experience and was able to use their only restroom that also had a baby changing station and noticed their toilet paper was a smaller roll like you'd have at home. It was not the regular giant roll of Pom that restaurants or retail...
Read moreDidn't get to try it bcuz no one spoke when I walked thru the Michigan Ave door. I stood their waiting to order & neither people at the register offered to help. Apparently there is a door at the other entrance. No one said anything until a larger group walked in & the lady at the register then looked at me & said the line starts at the register. So I guess I needed to get behind all of those new people that came in. Small suggestion, maybe a sign shld be posted since lots of people come on from the Michigan Ave store. Before leaving out I asked the cashier if she had saw me coming in. She said she did & asked if I wanted anything. I told her no bcuz I had been standing in front of the icecream waiting to be helped & neither person said anything to me. Then when the group came, u rhen says the line starts at the register. Said she said the samething earlier. But, I wldnt have stayed standing there looking back & forth between the two if that was the case. Also, if I'm the only one standing at the time, maybe ask if I had questions or did I need to order. I went from being the only one standing to order to standing behind 4 new...
