Ah, where do I start? I was visiting Chicago, and I was very hungry. I could see cocobar from my hotel window. It was calling my name. I NEEDED to go there before I left. Cute atmosphere. Cute location. Felt like a movie set. Just about a perfect atmosphere besides the guy sleeping by the water fountain and the pigeons roaming around looking for food. Pigeons arenāt scared and may walk right near you. Only the tables right near the riverwalk are where you can actually see it. Those seats get taken up quickly. While under trees you would think there would be a lot of bugs but I didnāt see any. If itās very busy the waiter/waitress may have a difficult time finding you to bring you your food. Margaritas are fresh as can be with the cashier shaking it up right in front of you. People under 21 or above 21 if they want are able to get a non alcoholic lemonade by choosing a flavor (I recommend blood orange for margs/lemonade) and are able to get a rim of rather salt, sugar, chamoy, mango chamoy which I reccomend the mango chamoy the most. The tacos are full of flavor especially if you get the chipotle chicken or Al pastor pork. Chips and queso are good. Guac can be added for the tacos on the side at 4 dollars. A bit much for the amount you get. And yes, I acknowledge this place is pricey but itās worth it. The churro sunade is really the bomb. The vanilla ice cream is really vanilla bean ice cream but itās very good. The churros are small but good. Horchata was great as well with a nice cinnamon flavor that reminded me of chai. Cocobar just has some unmatched incredible aura. Must try in Chicago. I hope to be back. It was a life changing experience at cocobar. It really changes your life for the better, so if you think itās gonna get worse, it wonāt. As long as you head over to cocobar immediately. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you cocobar for...

Itās located right next to the bridge where you can enjoy watching the cruise boats, people kayaking and people walking the path below.
This isnāt a dine-in type of restaurant. You walk in the entrance, order & pay first at the counter, then find yourself an open table.
Ordered the recommended Prickly Pear frozen Margarita & itās packed w/ a POWERFUL PUNCH of tequila. Also, it was just a nice amount of sweetness that I would get again.
Didnāt try any food, just came from Kitchen + Kocktails down the street but passed by CoCoBar and wanted to try their drinks on the way back home & happy that I did. š
Side note: they have ice cream bars for children (or anyone...
Ā Ā Ā Read moremy boyfriend and i ate here this weekend and to say itās mid would be generous. the margaritas were tolerable but didnāt taste too great. my boyfriend ordered loaded nachos but what he received wasnāt very loaded. the nacho toppings were literally on like 4 of the tortilla chips. plus they didnāt ask him if he wanted any meat on the nachos, and he requested no sour cream but it was still present. i got the empanadas with bbq chicken, but i didnāt really taste the bbq-ness. they were alright, but reminded me of something iād put in a microwave. the craziest part was that all this added up to $70?? i mean the prices are obviously on the menu, but we were more so in disbelief and honestly pretty bummed we paid so much on this place. the...
