Location, Location, Location! This was absolutely the best Location we could have been during our time in Chicago! It is across the street from the Chicago River, Trump Tower, and Chicago Tribune. We were a 5 minute walking walking distance to the architecture boat tour, 20-25 minutes to Navy Pier, 40 minutes from Shedd Aquarium, Adler Plantarium, Field Museum, 20 minutes to The Bean and Millennium Park, 25 minutes to Willis Tower, and 30 minutes to Union Station. There is a Lyft Bike station next to the hotel and you can get to all of the sites even more quickly or the L tain is also a few blocks away. Next, I want to mention the fantastic service of the employees at Club Quarters! The moment we arrived after a 28 hour train ride we arrived to drop our bags with the bag storage offered by the hotel and to our surprise front desk employee, Leo, gave us the best ever news of checking in SUPER early! We has reserved a queen with no view but he offered us an upgrade to a King with no view or a Full with a side view of the river or we could just keep our queen. We jumped on the full with a view and we were so happy we did! The view was beautiful (as seen in my attached pictures). Throughout our stay we noticed many guests arriving earlier in the day so I think early check in is normal when they aren't over booked. The room was layed out well and they really utilized the small space. My husband and I never felt cramped and had plenty of space to unpack and store our bags in the closet. The room and bathroom were clean although, I do think the back headboard and shelf needed to be dusted. We did not receive cleaning throughout our stay but due to Covid it was to be expected and didnt bother us. The room didn't have a fridge or microwave and that would be my only complaint but again, I knew that when I booked. There was an in room kerig coffee machine with a few coffee pods and earl gray tea bags. On basically all floors there is a water bottle filling station with plastic water bottles is needed. On floor 2 there is a nicer coffee bar with earl gray tea bags and coffee machine which makes espresso, cappuccino, cafe latte, hot milk, decaf, and regular coffee. We visited multiple times everyday and took full advantage of this amenity. There is also a nice sitting room here and several office spaces, including 2 private office/conference areas. LL1 there is a free washing machine and dryer with laundry soap pre-loaded and a ice machine with buckets to take back to your room. There is also a gym and a few vending machines. There is also an option for breakfast room service but we were told it was an outside company and could take 40 minutes so we did not utilize thay option. There is a bakery a few doors down from the hotel entrance and a Starbucks less than a block away. 12:00 check outs are always the best! We utilized the bag storage since we had a 7pm Amtrak departure and Ronnie was so helpful in helping us with our luggage! We really loved our stay and I have another Club Quarters trip in NYC in August for my birthday and after such a nice stay here in Chicago I can't wait to stay again! I would 100% recommend this hotel!

From start to finish, my recent stay at Club Quarters Hotel Wacker at Michigan was an absolute delight. This hotel not only surpassed my expectations but also left me with an unforgettable experience that I'm eager to share. The attention to detail, exceptional service, and ideal location made this visit to Chicago truly remarkable. One of the standout features of this hotel is its impeccable maintenance and cleanliness. The common areas were consistently well-kept, creating an inviting and comfortable ambiance throughout the premises. It was clear that the staff took immense pride in ensuring that every aspect of the hotel was in top-notch condition. The convenience of having coffee and tea available on the second floor was a game-changer, providing a quick and delightful refreshment option. The water stations with re-usable waterbottles on the floors were an unexpected but greatly appreciated amenity, allowing guests to stay hydrated effortlessly. These thoughtful touches made the stay even more enjoyable and convenient. The well-sized rooms, perfectly accommodating for two guests, were another highlight of the experience. The addition of a mini-fridge and microwave added a level of convenience that truly made a difference. The ability to reheat leftovers and store snacks added to the overall comfort and satisfaction of the stay. However, what truly elevated my experience was the exceptional service provided by Pedro, the front desk agent. From the moment I arrived, Pedro's professionalism and warm demeanor made me feel genuinely valued. His personal touch and genuine interest in making each guest feel at home set the tone for the entire stay. Pedro's dedication to providing memorable experiences undoubtedly makes him the heart of the hotel. Club Quarters Hotel Wacker at Michigan boasts an enviable location that's perfect for exploring the city. Its central position provides easy access to a plethora of attractions, and the fact that everything is within walking distance is a huge plus. Exploring the city's vibrant streets and soaking in the local culture was a breeze, thanks to the hotel's strategic location. Moreover, the views from the hotel were simply breathtaking. Whether it was the stunning skyline or the amazing view of the boardwalk r, the views added an extra layer of charm to the entire experience. Waking up to such each morning was truly a treat for the senses. In conclusion, Club Quarters Hotel Wacker at Michigan offers an exceptional stay that goes above and beyond expectations. The combination of meticulous maintenance, thoughtful amenities, and the personalized service from individuals like Pedro truly sets this hotel apart. With its unbeatable location and awe-inspiring views, it's the perfect choice for anyone seeking a memorable and enriching Chicago experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the heart of the city.

We just got back from a great two day trip to the big city! We stayed at the Club Quarters Wacker at Michigan for the first time. When I tell you this place is in the perfect location, I mean it! The hotel is located directly across the street from one of the stairways to get down to the River Walk where you will find lots of great bars, restaurants, and views of the city/river. The hotel is in walking distance to Millennium Park, Michigan Ave. shopping, and so many other amazing attractions that the city has to offer! We opted to skip the high price parking in the hotel parking deck and parked off-site at the Prudential building parking (which was very confusing to find but worth it because we saved money). Each floor of the hotel had a station with water bottles and filtered water, which was very nice!

Other reviews mention how small the rooms are, and I definitely agree. Our room had a full size bed that left about 10 inches from the wall on each side. Although the room was tiny, we didn’t mind. There was plenty of room for my husband and I, our duffle bags, and our shopping bags! This hotel was built in the late 1920s so we weren’t expecting to be blown away at the accommodations; however, a little bit of updating and better cleaning does go a long way. There was something brown smeared on the ceiling in the bathroom which we told ourselves was chocolate… maybe. My husband spilled water on the floor so he soaked it up with a towel. The towel was a nice shade of brown and gray after soaking up the water.

The hotel is made up of two different hotels which are on opposite sides of the lobby. The Club Quarters side had one functioning elevator. The elevator is very tiny and can only fit about 8 people at a time. We found ourselves waiting quite awhile at times considering there were over 30 floors in the hotel. One of the guests mentioned they had waited almost 40 minutes at one point for the elevator.

The hotel staff were nice and helpful. Even though this wasn’t the fanciest or most updated of hotels, we would definitely stay here again given the...
