Corey’s NYC Bagels is the real MVP — I’m not even kidding. From the second I walked in, everyone was super cool and friendly, like they actually want you to be there (unlike some of those other bagel spots where you feel like you’re inconveniencing them by ordering food). I got the lox bagel with chive cream cheese, red onion, tomato, and lettuce, and let me just say… this might be the best lox bagel I’ve ever had. The bagel was perfectly chewy, the toppings were fresh and stacked just right, and the whole thing was so good it made me question why I ever bothered with those sad, overpriced lox bagels from other places. You know the ones — bagel falling apart, barely any lox, and you’re basically paying $15 for disappointment. Yeah, not here. Corey’s understands the assignment.

And then there’s the New York coffee cake… I would straight-up sell my soul for that crumble cake. I’m talking buttery, moist, perfectly sweet — the kind of cake that makes you stop mid-bite just to process how good it is. Honestly, I’m mad I didn’t buy a second slice.

Biggest. Lox. Bagel. EVER! Looked so good I ate it immediately without taking a picture (which is completely normal but I understand it would be a plus for the review, take my word it was a beautiful presentation) but— enjoy the photos of the establishment. I can’t start my day with out a lox bagel; especially while on vacation. Corey’s Bagels has a clean, lively, inviting atmosphere —with funny, energetic kitchen communication, you’ll have to experience first hand to truly understand the delight. The cherry on top: Corey’s IS A BOARS HEAD ESTABLISHMENT!! The menu offers a wide variety of deli style goods —sliced meats, potato/pasta salads, etc… Sadly, for the cheese lovers —they DO NOT have any cheese flavor/Asiago style bagels. Corey’s is affordable and has a seemingly endless customizable menu with bagels/breakfast/lunch sandwiches/salads & soups . If a Lox bagel or other bagel sandwich isn’t your thing it’s the perfect spot for a quick basic toasted bagel with your favorite shmear. Meals are prepared when ordered. They also provide online pickup & app delivery services. I can’t wait to make my way through the menu! Much LOVE...
