Dunkin' — Restaurant in Chicago

I had a disappointing experience at this location due to the lack of customer service. I placed an order through the mobile app and went to the mobile order counter, where I noticed my food was ready but placed behind the counter—meaning I needed to ask for it rather than simply grabbing it. While I can understand this setup given the location, what followed was frustrating.

I stood there for several minutes as three employees continued their conversation, completely ignoring me. One employee, who seemed like the manager, was loudly speaking to another staff member in another language while she was actively working. Whatever they were discussing seemed more important to him than helping customers. A third employee noticed me and subtly tried to get their attention, but they still didn’t acknowledge me.

After about five minutes, the manager finally paused long enough for me to get my food—without so much as a “sorry for the wait” or even a simple “have a good day.” The complete lack of courtesy was disappointing. To top it off, my coffee was way too sweet. Blows my mind how I could order the exact same thing at a different dunkin, yet get a different result here. Smh…….the Customer Service , that blatant disrespect . It’s constant problems at the location especially in the morning . There always getting something wrong . Giving out decaf coffee as original coffee . They argue with u about your order being wrong . And the woman Manager in there is horrible . No smiling no customer service . They whisper about you in a different language to their peers . Over 7 times at least my food been made bad . That’s just food . This place is ridiculous. It’s disrespectful to the neighborhood everyone sees and knows it. How is this even possible or allowed . They don’t even hire black people. Yet there in a black neighborhood . The way they treat the ppl in the neighborhood as far as service is ridiculous. I just bought a donut from them and a coffee the donut taste like a sausage a literally sausage . Didn’t order no hot food . They know what they’re doing . It’s sad and should be better managed . New store same ole . Poor hygiene , poor service , blatant disrespectful , don’t care altitude people . This spot lost a lot of business and it’s obvious . This has to be a false rating because all the reviews been less that 3 stars . Horrible ,...

I’m standing at the pick up counter waiting to pick up my order and I’m standing there for five minutes I’m watching the clock people just continue to walk by me employee after employee no one has asked me do I need any help So I have to yell out hey can I get some assistance and then I tell him to order that I’m waiting on and I just walk away don’t say anything this really bugs me when someone I’m giving my money to ignores me and don’t even have the decency to give me an answer to the question that I’m asking I don’t know if it’s because I’m black and they’re Indian. But this is a business and you have to display customer service at a high-level I notice is Dunkin’ Donuts and they could care less because they already established but as a consumer I refuse to allow businesses to treat me as if I’m insignificant when consumers are the reason that they’re in business we have to understand responsible consumers we control the market so if the practices and policies are sufficient to us then we had to refuse giving them our business and that’s what I’ll be...
