Jennifer Colleen is very manipulative. I called Lucky strike to have an event for my 13 yr old early February of 2025. I told her there would be about 9 children and 5 adults because I have 4 sisters. She provided false information, sent me a deposit form with the contract information and a price of $478.00 ! On the contract she has 9 children and even though I stated who was coming 5 adults it wasn’t included on the contract I signed. I repeatedly explained who would be coming, So you would think that the full estimate would have been attached. The misinformation led me to pay a deposit but not have the information on the final amount. To me that’s a consumer violation. The rest of my attendees should’ve been included from the beginning, and then it would’ve been my choice to pay the amount on the appropriate party receipt. Instead they took my deposit of $239 knowing that wasn’t the actual amount. Each parent will be supervising their children so obviously they should be included yet she never sent me the correct bill. She got the sale took my money, and I called for the update today since the event is Saturday, and she matter if factor stated very ignorantly deposits are non refundable if you cancel. So essentially, pay $707 or your out $239 bucks. This is a grossly negligent way to operate in good faith with customers. I wouldn’t do business with the them regardless because they don’t even offer credits, or did not try to provide an alternative for something she created.
Terrible representative for your company and brand. She should added all the adults, instead she waited until 3 days before then told me I’m out $239 bucks, and it was to celebrate my son becoming a teen.
What a crappy way, to celebrate him. He’s an amazing person and been an honor student his entire life, and I’ve raised him on my own. So to tell a mom, who has a budget oh it’ll be $478 then changing it to $700 is ABSURD. Don’t give them your money if they can’t even...
Read moreNice looking place but WAY overpriced!! Our service was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!! We had a group of 15. They brought our food out at all different times. The 1st person who ordered got her food next to last. She had a simple order. 3 people never even got their food. We asked what was going on but our server kept responding "let me check" then never came back with any answers. The server and service was SO BAD we asked to speak to the manager. When we told her of the ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE we were having here and that this was our 1st time here she was very shocked to hear this. She was very apologetic and accommodating. When we told her who our server was and those who were "helping her" the manager said she would take them to the side and "Deal with them" in that "Momma tone". Without the missing 3 meals that never got served, our bill would have been almost $300. With it the bill would have been closer to $400. When the manager finished adjusting our bill, minus those 3 meals, it was less than a 10th of our total bill. I believe it was like $26 and some change. Although I fully appreciate ALL that the Manger did for us, that experience put a REAL BAD taste in my mouth. I don't pay for bad service nor do I want my time wasted and especially my patronage not appreciated. THAT'S how they made us feel. With as much money as they charge and the large group we brought, they should have been thrilled to see us. More money for them. Exceptional service should be what EVERY patron recieve. That is clearly NOT the case there!! I'll probably never go back. VERY...
Read moreI patronized Lucky Strike downtown Chicago on 12/17 for a birthday celebration. I had a mixture of adults and children in my group. Upon arrival the attendee at the front desk said about a 30 minute wait for one lane then changed it and said definitely no longer than an hour wait. With the wait time given majority of my party decided to go to the game room. We were called for our lanes pretty quickly, but unfortunately our bowling time started immediately while still rounding up my party. Then we struggled to input names and couldn’t find anyone to help us out. We missed about 15 minutes of our bowling time. Our game cut off at round 7 for one lane and round 8 for the second lane. Immediately upon getting settled in the lanes I order 3 pitchers of drinks. About 15 minutes later I placed a good order, my order arrived within 30 minutes but 2 of the 3 pitchers did not arrive at my table until after my bowling time was up due to not having any clean dishes in the kitchen. As my party was sitting and eating another party walks up because the front desk attendant placed them at our lanes. We were then rushed away to a random table. Yes the manager gave me a discount on 1 food receipt but I had 2 separate food receipts and I also spent all most $300 on an hour and half on bowling but really only bowled for 45 minutes. We end up taking our cake home for happy birthday. I expected to leave happy and satisfied with the money I spent which was a total of a little over $400. I feel my money could have been better spent and appreciated more at another...
