So I just moved to downtown and was really excited to check out some local places...so got on Grubhub and since I'm vegetarian I ordered the spaghetti dish and mostaccioli dish both with marinara sauce (no meat) and the peanut butter cookie without icecream... The order showed up very early...I was excited until I opened the bag ready to eat to find I received TWO identical spaghetti dishes smothered in meat...yet they got the cookie part right with no ice cream or whip cream... I called them and told them they sent me the wrong dishes (one shouldn't have been spaghetti and none of them should have meat) the man seemed out of it with a response of "gee whiz" then something about a glitch... They said the correct dishes will be sent... So almost another hour later... They arrived... And here we are again with TWO spaghetti dishes, but hey it has no meat hahaha.. Ridiculous. And about that peanut butter cookie, well it was very buttery and tiny and not worth almost $8 that's for sure... Never ever eating here again... Not to mention the spaghetti tastes like a 10yr old made it... Watery as heck and bland.. Oh well... $45...

The stars I gave were generous. Picture this…you’re on a high from a great game at Wintrust unfamiliar with the city but saw how convenient the pizza place was across the street. Cool!! Ordered a medium pizza and the crust could not be penetrated with a fork, a fork and a knife or my carnivorous teeth, we only ate the toppings. The sauce was pretty good.

We were disappointed but okay you win some you lose some UNTIL I’m walking to the restroom which was exceptionally clean and hear the guy that we thought was a manager talking to the actual manager about our complaint about the crust and the waitress being so nonchalant about the situation so I stopped and told them exactly what was wrong with our pizza. The manager looked me in my eyes and told me that’s how they cook their crust. No accountability, no apology, just that’s how we prepare our pizza. So why not just serve toppings? The crust is inedible however, I saw other patrons who didn’t seem to have the same experience as we did. They made a mistake and didn’t put in any effort to rectify the situation. Trust me...

Came here 10/09/2022 around 6:30pm to pick up an order for a UberEats customer. The pick up window cashier ( a tall middle age, medium build white male) had a nasty attitude and was very disrespectful and belittling. As he handed me the order he said with a nasty tone that I need to confirm the order! (He held the order hostage until I confirmed the order). Which he said in a manner like I'm a child. We gig workers know the procedure to confirm an order as it is required in order to know the delivery address. I respond to him and said a few things and that Im not a child as I took the order. He then sticks his head out the window and calls me an A-hole and that he is going to get me banned on the UberEats platform which was funny. I have a full-time job making 65k and don't rely on delivering food. I then called and spoke to the store manager to report this foul employee. He needs to work dishwasher if he doesn't know how to have...

Disgusting… place is 10 min walk but somehow took them 1.5 hours to deliver the pizza. Hopefully you will see this and other awful reviews before using GrubHub like I did without checking. Hunger was my error in judgement….When pizza finally arrived, either they forgot to put toppings in a large section, it slid around, or the driver ate it. Either way, a huge space was nothing but soggy thin crust without even sauce to cover… I posted a pic of exactly how it looked when we opened it, You can’t make this stuff up….Don’t walk away, run away from this place to find real authentic Chicago pizza…The novelty bug pizzas you can find in Thailand looked more appetizing than this one did.

I didn't feel welcomed when I entered. It was as if they didn't want my money. I had to wait to be seated in a place that had plenty of available tables. As I stood waiting to be seated there was a table finishing up. The employees surrounded one guy from that table as if they were trying to we're about to dash. I no longer wanted to wait, so I asked for to go Pizza which looked like it had been cooked hours ago. Wish I had looked inside the boxes before leaving the place. The overall experience wasn't good at all.

IMO this is the best deep dish in Chicago. The crust is thick enough to stand up to the mass of the toppings. It is more like a pie crust than a pizza crust, but I think it is perfect. The flavor of the crust is also fantastic. Super buttery and has a really deep bread flavor that comes with long rise times. The sauce is obviously their own and the sausage topping is fantastic. Note: I've never been to this location, and have only gotten it delivered.
