Update: Went back again, place improved a lot, not quite 5 star but very close. Great job to the management team. Service is much better, food came out quick.

Previous review: The food itself isn’t bad, soup base (bone) is savory, ingredients are fresh. Would suggest using hotpot beef instead of sliced beef.

However we had two issues. First is minor, it was two of us and our bowls came out 10min apart where it seemed other people who were behind us got theirs first.

The main issue as mentioned in someone else’s post is that we found a long hair embedded in the soup. So we had to wait even longer where I was done eating but my partner hadn’t even gotten the food. While they were apologetic and said they would give us a discount for the issue, it was just 10% off. What’s the point of offering if it’s so meaningless. This is definitely a new found gem for someone who wants a little bit of everything like me! A stir-fried spicy hotpot by weight spot in Chinatown!!! There are also soupy and other flavor options: classic bone soup, tomato soup, and tomyum. You select your own ingredients and they have so many options from meat to seafood to veggies to different kinds of tofu to different types of noodles. My favorite ingredients are: beef tongue beef tripe beef intestine potato wide potato noodle youtiao enoki mushrooms baby bokchoy It’s weighed by lbs at $14.99 per lbs so choose wisely! The staff was super helpful and the food came out quick. The dry hot pot option was spicy and flavorful, not too salty at all. The waiter was racist. He asked me to give up my seat to the Koreans who arrived later. The reason was that it was too cold for Koreans to sit at the door, and then asked me to sit at the door!
