Chada Thai Cuisine Chico — Restaurant in Chico

Bad customer service. ATTENTION GRUBHUBERS AND DOORDASHER. This restaurant is unprofessional. I’ve had pick up orders twice here. And today I had another order from there, and the unprofessional workers and owners didn’t wanted us to deliver their food again. We had a issue with grub hub the first time, and because of that they don’t want us to deliver never again their food. They made me waste my time, and I know I’m not the first one with this problem. They also told us that in our second delivery customers complained with them because they supposedly got the wrong order when we never got a complain from them nor grub hub. So they forced me to cancel the order just because they didn’t want me to deliver. The customers have been waiting for passed 1 hour. So don’t take orders from here. It’s honestly not worth it. Specially if it’s for to persons. I’ve deliver over 600 order from DoorDash and grub hub and this have never happened to me, nor have a complain for a customer. Been here only twice for dinner.

-First time was a great experience with friendly server and intimate atmosphere. The food was delicious and they have the best elephant picture hang in the restroom.

-Second time my boyfriend and I didn't bother ordering food because it was the complete opposite of our last experience. As we walked in 20 minutes after opening for dinner the hostist just left into another room leaving us to waiting another 15 minutes. We though it got busy before we arrived so we waiting hoping there was someone else to take us to our table. Nope... same person that looked like she rather be somewhere else. She sat us at our table and we saw that the place only had one other family besides us. Anyone who complains about the service at Chada, get over your pompous self. Service expectations nowadays are almost non achievable. I have been going to Chada since 2000 and I have never gone for the waitstaff experience.

The lady that owns it is nice, but she is Thai and she is matter of fact and no nonsense. She just wants your order which is fine by me because I am not at a restaurant to start a loving relationship with my waiter. Take my order, bring me my food and leave me alone.

So you had to wait a few minutes. They have the best Thai food I have ever had in my life. I am religiously devoted to them there and they have never been rude or done me wrong.
