I recently had written a review of lunch I had with my wife today at your establishment. I felt bad that my review was pretty harsh, and I wanted to write another review. I just want to say that I expected it to be like a Mexican restaurant, and I was extremely dissatisfied with my food. I will just say that the lunch was overpriced for what I ordered. The whole meal could have been better and fresher. I paid $5.99 for what I thought was gonna be caso cheese to go with my fajitas, and it turned out to be a nast yellow looking dip, as you can see! I did not want this but ended up paying for it when my waitress said that was their caso. My shells we cold and hard as the pictures show and it was just not a pleasant experience. It was lunchtime, the place was not very busy, I found food in my seat when I sat down and the wall paper is coming off the wall. The service was so slow that I almost just got up and left. I do not normally write a negative review, and that is why I changed this one. Maybe this was just a fluke, and I might try again, but for $26 I expected lunch to be better.

Stopped in here after a bad experience I had at a dealership that day. I was starving. Haven't been to a Tumbleweed since I was a kid. Was looking for some nostalgia maybe. The food was good for the price. It's not gourmet dining, but its not that heavy on your wallet either. Started out with free bottomless chips and salsa. That's nice. Salsa was kinda meh, but it's free. Ordered the queso chicken rolls and they were solid. I would give them 4/5 stars. They were hot, seemed fresh, and the queso was unique. I finished with the raspberry cheesecake chimichangas, and they were scrumptious. Super rich, but that is what I was looking for. Really what made this a great experience was the guy behind the bar, Travis. Was just a genuinely good dude. He gave great service and just enough conversation to be pleasant, but not so much that he talked my ears off. Good experience, would go again for sure. Food would be a 4/5, but Travis' service makes this a 5/5 experience.

Our first and last visit there was back in October. We walked in around 4:00 during the week. No one greeted us, we stood there minutes before someone noticed and took us to a table. The steak in my tacos was red/purple, way undercooked. So as I’m looking at that, my daughter pulls something out of one of the other tacos on my plate. It was a piece of rolled up plastic. Our server came, I asked her about it. She sent the manager who confirmed it was a piece of their receipt paper tape. He took my food off our bill and took half off the entire bill which was very nice but honestly no one ate any of their food. My 3 kids all said their food was disgusting so they didn’t touch it. We left hungry and disappointed.

This place was comical to say the least. The service was so bad that we couldn’t help but laugh. A little back story, there were four of us. The server was super nice and inviting, that’s about the only good thing I can say about this place. It took her almost 15 minutes to even ask what we wanted to drink and then another 15 minutes to receive said drinks. We ordered our food and it took about 55 minutes to receive said food. Two steak dinners, one pulled pork dinner, and the smothered chicken dinner. The cooks forgot to give us two sides, which then took another 15 minutes for them to even bring it out. The smothered chicken was suppose to have peppers and onions but they put mushrooms on it (which I absolutely hate mushrooms), the pulled pork was cold, the steaks were made wrong. One was suppose to be medium and the other was suppose to be medium rare. We received a medium well and a rare steak, and lastly the sides were cold. The server completely forgot to give us silverware. So we asked the man that brought our food out to please get us some and we waited and never saw him again. So naturally we just started eating with our hands because we was so hungry. She finally came back after we was halfway done eating our food and finally offered us silverware. One of the people ordered a margarita. The first one was perfectly made but the second one was so strong that she couldn’t even drink it. Then the server really told all of us “this better not affect my tip because I deserve one and non of this is my fault.” Two hours and ten minutes later and we was finally leaving the restaurant. This experience was just so bad. This was our first experience and will definitely be our last. We will never suggest this place to anyone and instead suggest to go to longhorn or...

Honestly if I could leave 0 stars I would. We came in on a Friday evening expecting a bit of a wait, we were told 10-20 min, which is great, but half of the tables were empty. We were sat after 30 min waiting. The waitress gets our drink order and apologizes for the wait, she brings out three of the drinks and the chips and we ordered our food at this time. It’s another 20 min before the fourth drink comes. 8 min later (so almost 30 min after we ordered our food) the waitress comes over and says that she forgot what side my husband needed, because she was just then putting the food order in. He tells her and we continue to wait. The hostess has sat another table in her section and the waitress proceeds to argue with her that she hadn’t even put two tables orders in she can’t take another table, as she’s standing next to our table. When food finally does come, my husbands steak is WHITE with a rare center, it was a ribeye steak that was supposed to be medium rare. When we bring this to the managers attention she says she will throw it back on the grill for a bit. Then mentions the onion straws it is supposed to come with? We don’t give a care about onion straws, we just don’t want food poisoning. The waitress apologized multiple times for the wait and we understand she can’t help the wait if they are understaffed, but to yell at another employee right in front of the guests, and missing drink refills multiple times and the disgusting food, it was an extremely unpleasant visit and we will...

Passing through town and haven't seen a Tumbleweed in ages. Super excited to stop by and then bar service was subpar, at best. When ordering a drink, I was told "we only have 2 options because they won't let us order anything". The people beside us got up and left shortly after we arrived. When we left at least 30 minutes later, all of their dirty dishes were STILL sitting there. The bartender only had 1 table plus us, no excuse. Watched the bartender on her phone a lot. Also watched her walk out the door to the patio to play on her phone, while my friends drink sat empty. Waited an additional 15 minutes for her to decide to come back so we could request our check and a box. Watched the manager chat with a gentleman who worked in the BOH as well, sitting at the bar off clock, and when he walked away, he didn't even bother to take a handful of dirty dishes with him. Not disappointed that we won't be passing through again anytime soon. The only reason you got 2 stars instead of one, was because Travis was the one to greet us upon arrival at the bar, although it was the end of his shift. He had great customer service, knew how to talk to folks and was still working even when he was off the clock, otherwise your phones never would have...
