Steak 'n Shake — Restaurant in Chillicothe

HORRIBLE! The lady in the dining area was horribly rude. 1st, there are no cashiers. I feel sorry for he older generation. You stand in line to order from the kiosks. Then It'll give you your receipt and a qr code, you have to scan it to get your drink. They put your food on the tray and yell your name, you go get the food. It's kinda like a bad cafeteria, really weird. Anyway this is where I get really irritated. They yelled my name. I walked up to get my two trays of food. I had little kids with me so I had to carry the trays back to our seat. I certainly wasn't being help out by that crew! So I carried one tray back, set the food on the table, went to get the other one. I thought I would save them some time and leave the trays there, where they put them for me and just take the food. But The girl rudely told me the trays don't go there and that I would need to stack them above the trash cans. Like a dummy, I did it. I wish I hadn't if though. I should have said, I'm sorry, I don't work for steak and shake. One thing is for sure I will never be back To this Steak and Shake. I don't expect to be pampered, but I don't appreciate being scolded for not knowing that their so lazy now. Steak and shake USED to be an awesome place to eat! Maybe this is why most of the steak and shakes are going out...

Employees were ignoring me and even looking at me, but failing to acknowledge me when I stood by mobile order pickup stand for like a half hour to pick up two doordashes. It was 45 minutes and I still didnt get the orders, and employees kept looking at me and gave people their orders when they ordered way after the two doordash people that I was picking up for did. Theres no reason to have their orders done before mine when mine were smaller than yours, and no excuses, FIRST ORDERED IS TO BE FIRST MADE. Doordashers have responsibilities too and cant be waiting long just because yall are lazy and have favorites and continue to not make an order after its been on screen for over a half hour. laziest and stupidest customer service I've seen. I bet if there was a restaurant police that could ban restaurants, this restaurant should be banned. No customer should be ignored, and I'll file against law if I am not given better service next time, I'll get restaurant to close down forever if this continues. manager even ignored me and disrespected me by not helping me when I was standing there for a long time. My biggest concern is that they quit serving chicken. Kids & adults love chicken, chicken tenders, chicken nuggets, and not even a chicken sandwich. The don't offer any non-dairy products for those who choose not to consume daily products. Even if it was one oat milk/almond milk milkshake(s). The customer service representatives are not patient considering that they don't have much to choose from you think that they would be more patient and respectful to their customers because we the paying customers pay their pay checks by buying food from their fast food locations. Without offering any type of chicken options I see no sense in going to a steak & shake. At this point it's just another hamburger joint like McDonald's, Burger King, Rallys, Hardee's and Wendy's. Just in case you don't know they all offer some form of a ice cream shake, hamburgers and fries. This is why so many steak & shake locations are going out of business. I don't recommend...
