I have sat on this negative review for a month. I like to go back and re-evaluate when I have a clear mind. I think it needs some explanation. In my world, you have to really work hard earn a 1-star review.
That night a month ago. We arrived late, exhausted after a long day at an amusement park. Kids wanted shakes, I actually checked/called around and was told the machine at this location was working. I pulled into the drive-thru. No signs stating the shake machine was broken.
After pulling up to the order screen, the employee voice informed the machine was broken. I opted to order nothing and call or drive to one more location before closing time. One car in the drive-thru already parked ahead of us; one pulled in behind us.
We were watching the clock, ten minutes, the car in front of us did not move and there were no signs it was going to move. I was beginning to feel claustrophobic. We were running out of time to try another location. I decided to call the location's telephone number and ask if they could let us pass.
When she answered, I asked if she could let us out by moving the car in front of us to one of the waiting spots. Her response was surprising. She immediately took offence. Her words, "No, it was [my] your fault for not ordering anything" she add we was stuck there.
I tried to repeat my suggestion and ended it with, "Please let me out." She interrupted me, talking over me and escalated to yelling over my protest. I hung up, I was too tired to argue, we waited in that claustrophobic space unsure if she was going to react. Just about closing time the car finally moved.
So that is why the 1-star rating. It has been a month and I don't feel any better about the transaction that night. Yes, it was one interaction, but I have no intention of being trapped again. I have concerns for people who have medical issues. I don't know what was happening to her in her life that caused such a hostile situation, but I hope she...
Read moreThis is the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. They really don’t care about getting their reviews up. It started in the drive-through. I said I needed a minute when I said I was ready I was then ignored when finally somebody came she seemed very annoyed that she had to take my order and every time I would say what I wanted in reference to sizes she would still ask me what size in an aggravated way like I was ignoring her, but it was just her refusing to pay attention. When I drove up to the window, I continued to be ignored when somebody finally opened the window to reconfirm my order still was giving some attitude. When I was handed my things, I asked her if I can get some sauce but immediately shut the door on me before I can say thank you for my food or if I could have a sauce, I then said, excuse me and she open the door and I said can I get some sauce please continue to hand it to me as I continue to keep saying thank you have a great night and the door was shut on me again. This person also had an AirPod in their ear. This place was completely unprofessional and flat out rude. I came here feeling good finally getting off of work and wanted some relaxation food and instead, I was immediately greeted with rude annoyance. The manager here really needs to talk to their staff and stress more about courtesy. When I finally got home to eat my things, I had ordered their new Hershey frappe, which was a clump of ice so when I drank it, I could only drink the syrup because at the bottom of the cup it was all hard ice that it wasn’t blended all the way through. Just shows that they really don’t care about anything here....
Read moreTLDR: Incredibly poor service. Missing multiple items.
I entered the drive thru, they had two lanes. When I pulled up someone asked to take my order and I told them I had a code and they asked for the number. I told them it and said I was ready to place my order and never responded.(it was a woman’s voice.) so I waited, and two cars went through the other lane while I was waiting on service. I pulled up to the drive through and the same woman was there and I asked “is something going on with the drive through? Why did at this stage 3 cars go through without getting any support on that side. Is it broken? “ and she said she didn’t know and that I would have to pull into the drive thru again.”
So I did into the other line. Same woman asked for my code. My code stated it was used on the app. (I didn’t use it.. never got to place my order.) the lady then said hold on one moment while I get the manager for the code. I said “never mind the code, may I please just place the order for my family.” An additional 4 cars were helped on the other side I left while I waited. The lady got off her shift and left. Once I finally got to place my order I found out they got our drinks wrong, and were missing an entire meals worth of food by the time I was already half way home.
I am astounded at how poor my service...
