Sat in drive-thru waiting to order while cars in the 2nd lane just kept passing us by. Ordered 2 cheeseburger meal with extra crispy fries and a coke. The VERY young person taking the money seemed to have a difficult time reading our order back. We actually ended up telling him what we ordered, and he agreed that we were correct. The also VERY young person at the next window looked at us and said here’s your large coke and then just stared blankly at us when we didn’t drive away. Again we had to recite our order to McDonald’s employee. Mind you there were THREE young ladies milling around in the window area doing basically nothing. We finally get our food, and I pull out a fry as we’re pulling off; not only were our fries in no way even slightly crisp, they weren’t even warm. I went inside and when confronted with the issue I received the very same blank stare. When a manager finally spoke to me it was to say that my receipt, which was generated by her employee’s actions, didn’t say extra crispy. WOW. First I pointed out that it wouldn’t since their registers use the wording “well done”, then I let her know that we used the words “extra crispy fries” while speaking to THREE of her employees and that all of them repeated it back to us. She said she’d make new fries. I gave her the cheeseburgers too, and let her know I wanted new ones that were hot and fresh with the fries that I had actually ordered. I went back out to the car to wait for for our food as I wasn’t trying to go inside to begin with. The manager brought our food, and had the nerve to say they were just high school kids. Really??? I don’t care how old you staff is, if you gave them jobs they should certainly be able to do them. Otherwise why are they getting paid? Some of the fries were crispy, but about every third or fourth one was basically inedible. The ever brilliant manager put the same, now cold cheeseburgers back in the bag. This location is less than 5 minutes from our home. Awful food. Inept staff and management. Going forward we will drive to a...
Read moreJust save yourself the headache and go to Dunkin across the street for coffee. Stopped by this location for breakfast for my boyfriend and a coffee for me before starting our long drive home. Placed the order and paid just fine we went fast through the line, but got to the pick up window and things just went downhill. I was handed our food and 1 drink and told to have a nice day, but my coveted caramel frappe was nowhere to be found. So, I ask the person at the window where my drink is. She says I didn't order it...as an avid "I need coffee to function" person, I was sure I ordered my frappe, so she checks again with her screen and the other 3 employees standing at the window and says yes you paid for it, we are making it now. Great! I can wait 2 minutes for my blessed morning beverage! She comes back and says sorry. I checked again and you didn't pay for it. So I dig out the receipt and confirm that yes, it was not included on my receipt, so can I pay for it here and you make me one? She looks back to the employee group and they internally discuss my quandary of a question for a few minutes at which time a new person approaches and says the frappe machine is broken, we can't make it. OK, can I get something else? To which the new person replies yes, if you pay for it. At this point I am unsure what I would be charged for versus what I would actually get and my coffee deprived brain was done debating the eligibility of the drink menu, so I let them know that I would go elsewhere for my coffee. The food was good, but Dunkin Donuts not only had my drink as listed on the menu, they charged me appropriately without playing 20 questions with a...
Read moreAll we bought was 3 bags of ice. It was late, there were no other cars in the drive through or even ordering. I pay for the ice and then they ask me to move to a waiting parking spot. I've this this before with other orders and other cars going through the drive through, but there was no one there. So I declined. I told them that if someone else comes through, I'll move then. Then the circus started. First they told me that I have to move to the waiting area. I asked them why, there was no one else there. So they got some one else. Long story short, six people now at the window, no customers at the resturant, no customers, other than me in the drive through, and they reveal that they are timed and rated for how long a car is at the window. They do this to "improve service." So what this resturant is doing is inconveniencing their customers by pushing people through so that their numbers will look better. They are fraudulently fixing thier numbers to make it appear that they are better than they are. When corporate, and the franchise owners see these low at the window times, they think the store is performing better than it is. The store also likely receives some kind of perks for meeting these time goals. Perks they didn't earn all while inconveniencing their customers, the opposite of what the company is trying to accomplish. Finally, I'm not the only one. My father-in-law experienced this at lunch (along with a bunch of other cars) he ordered 2 hamburgers, that was it. They has him, and a bunch of other cars go to the park and wait, which he did. He timed it 11 minutes, they kept cars flowing through, many had to...
